JWS is a fraud...

wes and april started an exjw discussion board thinking simon would end this board...it attracted many new members and grew into a bit hit in the exjw world...but a funny thing happened they started to ask for funds to keep the site up and asked for donations they poured in and yet it was not enough they keep ask and the funds keep pouring in...month after month and yet it was never enough...then it dawned on the members they were just pocketing the money and holding the members hostage..."send money or the site will go down"...they kept sending and they kept pocketing the money.... .

avoid these people like the plage they will just rip you off and pocket the money....

As a top poster on this board many times, I could not let this pass. Thank you, vilot for your apology. There has been much posted on the JWS about this subject, as well. April & Wes have had their problems, some of us have given a little to help them out over last year. I have found comfort there with new friends & relationships. It is smaller than this one & people are understanding without being critical over what you say. I left this board because of my former husband beening on here with his woman. Many may only know of the situation but I felt time to leave the board to them. I have taken my posts to JWS, in hopes that I could say whatever I like without getting evil PMs. I want others to know I am happy now & living a life of fun & adventure. I could not have done this without a divorce & getting out of the borg. I have found the support I needed & will stay there. They are a great bunch of ex dubs. Even the believers are friendly there! Impressions from my first KH meeting

i went to my first meeting last week and, well, i guess i want to write some thoughts about how a meeting is for an 'outsider' :-) .

There are many who make it their job to welcome the new ones. Sometimes with a hug. That is really somewhat over the top but I have seen them do it. It is really pretty easy to spot the new ones if you are a regular attendee. Look out for the overly friendly. Just a warning.

I really regret saying this isot, but it can last for as long as the dub continues to attend the other meetings after the assembly. It just reinforces the feeling & the message. My favorite thing after an assembly was to miss the next meeting. It lessened the hold they had on me just a little so I could continue to survive. I did this a lot as I remember in my final years. Then, I stopped going to assemblies all together, the last few years. The last one day I attended I was over two hours late. The friend I rode with was late to pick me up, then there were some heavy rains on the way down that caused the drive to be even longer. That drive to Richmond got longer every time I went. They were really scraping the bottom of the barrel to come up with the good example of a family of five that only worked with themselves in field circus. Sitting in the back watching the show, I ceased believing it was the only way to live my life. So glad I am out now. Hope you have better success with your wife. She sounds like she is still in the honeymoon phase with the wt. Does she go in field service yet?

i know i got bothered by all the self righteous music police who would condemn me or others for our awesome record collections from early years as a teenager .

several experiences were really quite odd .

one brother came up to me saying i was wrong to listen to the moody blues " nights in white satin "!

Cute Dagney, I love they were protecting you from the evil album covers, huh? I threw away so many vinyl albums but didn't stop there. I scratched the records with a metal pen to ruin them. I didn't want anyone else to be corrupted by them. Yeah, where was my WTF button. I must have turned it off completely.

I was only saying that Barr's wife was nice when I met her. We all know what they know about the things they tell others to preach and the lies they continue to put out in their mags. I don't think that way anymore. I will never look at the whole cult thing with approval again. I am out and glad to be, just putting in my two cents and we all know what that is worth today!
