  How I recently handled JWs at my door

  the jws stopped by my house a couple weeks ago on a saturday morning.

  i knew that with others most likely waiting for them out in the car they probably did not then have much time to engage in any serious conversation.

  so i let them talk while i feigned interest in what they had to say.

  i think we all know the reason millions of less hours.

  when i was in we went to a rv by the kingdom hall then drove 30 minutes out to the country to knock on a door then back to the city for one more door.

  god must be so proud!

  i posted the comment below on another thread on elders stepping down.

  although i left the jw's years ago, i still hold a fascination for the evolution of the religion and am curious on what future trends and developments may occur.

  so i thought i would start a thread on what future changes you think will occur in the organisation as the years go by, either doctrinally or organisationally:.

  I think the biggest enemy of the Watchtower is time.

  As long as things carry on without a global cataclysm occuring and less clear evidence of good Biblical interpretation the Watchtower is vunerable.

  People have already started looking at their watches and wondering if this gamble of their most precious possession (time) was worth it.

  Just interesting I thought. Perhaps someone in the Swaziland branch is exaggerating a little.

  I would like to expound a little on the money aspect of this whole thing....

  They love to say wait on Jehovah, or trust in the organization, man is imperfect so we have to wait and rely on Jehovah's wisdom. This is a conversation I have with my Elder father about just trusting in God and DO THE RIGHT THING!!!!

  For eample, if they really trusted in God then they would not have to worry about money or membership for he would preserve them no matter what. They should just pay the money and their God would just replenish their coffers cause he will preserve this so called true religion.

  Same with associating with people who just choose not to be in it anymore. If they changed that they would loose a lot of members but God would help them through it.

  They KNOW that they cant do that because it would probably end them showing no favor from ANY God. They have no faith in the God they promote.

  Hope this Judge rules in favor of Candace.
