The Joseph, story, as exploited by wt

the current treatment of the "joseph " story at the wt meetings, uses him as an example of jws suffering, holding up under attack.

i reality the wt outfit is not the victim, but fits the 10 brothers that expelled, nearly killed that original whistleblower.

our example here, who prospered in different ways outside the wtbts inc's sphere of influence.

Waton, I am with you on this. Amazing how as of late due to Covid-19, we are getting weekly reminders from the CO that we should stay encouraged because Jehovah will not abandon us, he is with us. During that WT study, made me sick to hear that Jehovah was with Joseph even though he was imprisoned for over 10 years blessing him thru it all!

WT like to throw out there that Joseph stuck to Jehovah by refusing Potiphar's wife, yet WT makes no commentary of course about Joseph taking a "worldly wife" nor excepting a job with "pagans"

Trying to get my head around these go bags

when i was looking at prepping back in the 90s i was told by several elders that we needed to just rely on the org and jehovah and not prep.

i started to put away vacuum sealed bags of rice beans and spices anyway.

now they have this go bag crap.

In growing up "in the truth" my mom said that the only information I would ever need for school and life is from the Watchtower publications and the meetings. 45 years later, she still thinks this way. As a PIMO, she goes radio silent when I tell her that I heard that first from 'the World" and "Society" is just reacting. You better believe that "the friends" ONLY move and react when they are TOLD, even if they first hear the same thing on the news a week or months ago. Amazing how we all know this and it will probably never go away.

Kosonen, you are to be commended for your efforts and your activism. As others have mentioned and you should send this information to WT over and over and over again if it makes you sleep at night. With that said, as a reminder- a Youtube channel and publishing a book on Amazon is the way to get this information out there to the masses, let the masses be your voice, and as your message spreads, WT will hear you and depending on how loud your voice becomes, come after you like they are trying to do to others as worst case scenario. I can hear you now saying to yourself with a fist pump- YES!

Proof - God is not speaking through the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses

with this thread - i’m currently in pimo –mode - 10 years -in for 40 years- wife a pioneer (maybe this could be a source for someone as a book idea, handout if there isn’t one already).

i am hoping to develop coming up with at least 101 reasoning points using only wt publications, bible facts (hebrew/greek text as well) and quotable things from jw broadcast we can prove that god is not with jehovah’s witnesses and its governing body.

(101 seem to be common number when used for a book format) i’m sure there are websites out there that list many of the flip-flops; however we can use this thread for this specific topic.

Using the Russian ban news with all those letters and prayers would get you no where, since that would end up on the Satan list. News items don't work with JW's.

Anything outside the publications we know will not work for the average witness- even if it is something in the news and or claimed new light it is still tangible evidence since it is in a publication that still could get a witness thinking about it.

Gods name. JW broadcast June 2015 Governing Body member Geoffrey Jackson admits to not knowing the correct pronunciation of God’s name. Use Jehovah because it’s widely recognized in English. Think about that-recognized by the world? If the GB is representing god- wouldn’t god reveal how to say his name? How can you represent someone with out knowing how to say their name correctly?

2. Superior authorities ROMS 13:1. Wouldn’t God know if he represented the superior authorities?

fyi---had a part about the relief ministry to show what "jehovah" is accomplishing through his organization to help the brothers and sisters abroad to the praise of "jehovah's" name.

After this encouraging part, the elders put to the congregation a resolution to send a one time $10,000 to the Branch for relief work. (A few months ago there was $11,000 or so in the bank.)

Another resolution to ante-up the regular monthly (tithe) from $700 to $900.

This we were told is our way of showing our appreciation for what "Jehovah" is doing to take care of his people!

Cannot imagine how much money is pouring into WT monthly. Don't forget to watch the video to see how much money WT needs to help with the Relief Ministry.

FYI-

This past week or so Circuit Assembly in Cleveland area, the CO scolded the audience for not sitting down once the music start playing. Before his part, he asked the audience for "program silence" ! Everyone was quiet or half a minute- he then said - this is what the Governing Body wants - us to be in our seats with program silence when the music plays- since the opening music is part of the program.

I'm sure with this upcoming Regional Conventions more of this "slapping of the wrist" by the Governing Body will take place to get the "friends" in their seats for the music accompaniment of evangelical music.
