Once again I am posting public proof of my ineptitude with computers. I can't remember how to set it up so that the call waiting feature doesn't click me offline everytime someone calls.
I have windows 98 and use internet explorer

Can't remember the name of the movie but Tom Cruise and Renee Zellwiger were in it and a cute little blond boy played her son.
He (Cruise) comes back to her(Zellwiger) with a long winded apology hoping to work it out and she says "You had me from hello". It was so romantic and I am not usually a Cruise fan. They tried to make a country song out of it later but it just wasn't the same.
i am switching computers and my old one has all my sites saved on "favorites".

today the stangest thing happened at work:.
i am working in my parent's bakery when i guy comes in with one crutch.
he obviously had trouble walking.
couldn't resist an object lesson:
The guy is so much like all of us once were, dependent on his crutch. Then one day (when he leasts expects it) it is left behind. At first he is worried what will he do? how will he manage without it? and yet much to his own surprise he soon finds that not only will he survive this loss but he can walk, yes even run! He looks back at his former dependence with a mixture of sadness and disbelief for all the time that he wasted relying on something that was of little real value to him. His loss was a blessing in disguise, he is whole once more.
i was looking through the reasoning book trying to find information on disfellowshipping and i couldn't find anything.
when i look at the principal subjects index in the front i see many controversial subjects and teachings of other religions such as confession, purgatory, hell, speaking in tongues and rapture.
yet no listing for this sensitive subject.
Thanks JT that's what I kinda figured, but I just wanted to be sure that I am not missing anything. I mean it is so easy for them to write about and slam other religions teachings yet they can't even begin to defend the one teaching that they require of their members that causes the most heartbreak and pain and has ruined countless lives and families. I should know better than to be shocked by now, but their hypocrisy seems so unending. If anyone is reading this and I am wrong please let me know.
Sometimes the REAL TRUTH still hurts it's just sooo sad.

Sure I can understand that they wouldn't put it in the main index under D. But since this is one of the most controversial of all witness beleifs, it seems reasonable that they would cover it in a book such as "Reasoning on the Scriptures" if only to help the witnesses who are often asked about their stand on this matter. So I am wondering what heading is it under? Is it there at all?
in another thread, i stated the three best things i ever did with my life, but i thought the topic would make a good thread.. what are the three best things you did in your life?.
mine are:.
third best: divorcing my first wife.
Going back to college
My two beautiful children
Getting internet service (and finding this site)
i was out last night with a jw but who is not attending.
he is in his early 30s, is on his second marriage but now separated.
i've known him for 15 yrs or so.
Thank You for your kind words Larc.
Here is the link to the "Free Application for Federal Student Aid" http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/ as far as the deadlines the federal one is July 1,2002 but if you are in California it is still better to get it in by the March 2 in order to be considered for all state programs. The link gives you all the info you need plus individual state deadlines. It is a pretty easy application oh and if you change your mind and decide not to go in the Fall their is no penalty at all. Best Wishes
