  Lukemia Witness dies due to lack of blood.....the horrific sad story.

  the nicest 41 year old brother i have ever met in my life, kind and helpful to all, goes for a routine blood test and finds he has lukemia.

  everyone was in shock, he of course refused all blood products advised by doctors.

  his blood cell count dropped dramatically and he began to suffer alot.

  so as not to hijack another thread, i'm going off on my rantangent here.. in the other thread i posted a 1960s wt quote about women having puny brains, being incapable of leading or making decisions, being ruled by their menstrual constitution and weak musculature.

  if you want more gems, just google "watchtower quotes women" and read to your heart's content.. i got to thinking, who is this broad they quoted as a source, dr. marie n. robinson?

  We Want You Back

  so i'm sitting at my desk at work when my cell phone rings.

  i've been faded for over 3 years now and i'm way beyond the point where i didn't answer my phone and dreaded any knocks on my door.. anyway, i answer and it's an elder from my old congregation.

  he went on about how he was pretty much going down his list of names of inactive/ and was wondering if he and another elder could come by for a visit.

  I have been getting calls and e-mails from my Mom offering an "in-home bible study" and to shepard me back. I always say I am too busy, I already know what I need to know and that I'm just not interested. It depends on the level of pressure she is putting on me.

  She puts on her best "I'm here for you. Jehovah really wants you and cares for you voice".

  After my denial, her normal *MOM* voice comes out and she gets snippy. She won't give me a Return Visit™ for a week or two. I have to call her if I want to talk.

  when i was attending, an elder would never give tacit approval to a jw's participation on a website like this.

  back then procedure was a harsh warning followed by disfellowshipping if the behavior were to continue.. when i was being raised a jw, no witness in good standing, let alone a pioneer, would ever consider allowing his/her children to attend a halloween or birthday party.

  seems as though the days of "mental regulating of youth" are in the rear view mirror.... how great is that?

  The Chicago COs, POs and Elders will kick your ass for going into any other faiths church. Period. You will be put on private reproof if not DFd. It is a set up for severe sanctions.

  You might as well invite Satan and every demon into your home. And go buy some antiques and put them in your bedroom. And go on apostate websites.

  Oh, but you (ae) are already doing that.

  Going into a Church, Synagog, etc. is simply not allowed where I am. I have no idea if it is in the literature. It is inviting Satan and other ideas back into your head. Why would the GB allow any JW into another church? For anything? Even a funeral? Or wedding?

  They don't want you to see how the other side lives. Simple.

  We were absolutely not allowed to go to any funeral or wedding for any Non-JW family member. Didn't matter who. When my non-JW grandparents died? Mass in a church--we didn't go. Period. We went only to the cemetery. For my frigging GrandParents.

  JWs are sick.

  bit fed up tbh , the recent lies and slander levelled against me which has remained unanswered has left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth, plus probably spending a little bit too much time on web forums, see you all in a while.

  VIII what is a mass? Ive been to funerals, they sing and chat about the person end of.....logic....yes you clearly havent.

  False stupidity is sooo ugly. Google it. I'm sure the GB won't mind.

  but,

  Your calling it "a mass" means you already know what it is.

  well today for the first time ive felt i can finally let my hair down and laugh and joke with you guys.....yup....you shall see the funny mad side of me too, that way you'll know im human (not a vampire) lol...... thanks guys......today was a huge turning point for me :) and im happy, real happy...xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.

  In the US, a true, strong JW would never step foot in a church. No matter it be for a funeral, where a Priest or Pastor etc., will give a Mass for the deceased or a marriage. I recently attended a funeral at a Catholic church for a deceased and a full mass was held. Neither my Mom nor any of my JW relatives attended.

  Why? Because the Priest gave a full on Mass. With Eucharist. I am sure you know what that is.

  So, go, have fun at funerals. Which I totally don't believe.

  Why Marriages are off limits is beyond comprehension. Only a brain dead JW could come up with that one. Zero on the logic scale.
