  How Many Are Watching the Jackson Memorial Now?

  I just got a call from my JW Mom. She is very excited to be watching the Jacko Memorial. Told me it is the most important thing on TV. Ever.

  She told me I must watch it as it was showing all kinds of stuff never to be seen again.

  "Like what" I asked?

  "All kinds of things, I can't tell you I don't have time I don't want to miss any of it!! It's too important. He was the most important man ever."

  So, there you have it. An ardent, hard-core (thoughts, not gut) JW, telling me that Michael Jackson is the most important man ever.

  Jesus just lost his place in line.

  To Michael Jackson.

  Sad.

  But I do have it on in the background.

  Did You Feel The Love As A Jehovah's Witness?

  other than feeling "love bombed" when you first started associating with the "brotherhood", did you experience the "love" in your years within the organization?.

  if you felt truly loved, was it in reality, a "conditional love"?.

  Everything is conditional.

  You do and act how the JWs want and they will *love* you.

  If your skirt is too short or your sideburns too long, the love turns into a backroom discussion with the Elders.

  People who are waiting for non-members eyes to be plucked out by birds, as they watch in fascination, don't feel love.

  i received this vomit-inducing email from a jw:.

  i had the tonight show w/ conan o'brien playing in the background, at first i was shocked to hear what i heard, yet very happy to see what was being prominently displayed in public view for the entire world to see (as the show is syndicated internationally)!

  yup, the study version of our dear watchtower with the words announcing jehovah's kingdom prominently on the front cover.

  new york (ap) -- little people are calling on the federal communications commission to ban the use of the word "midget" on broadcast tv.. .

  the group little people of america said sunday the word is just as offensive as racial slurs.. .

  Everytime I read this I giggle.

  Comparing Midget to that vile *N* word is ridiculous.

  Whenever I watch the Wizard of Oz I will think of this.

  ...A Doggie Day in Hell...

  ever have one of those days..when you go outside,and part of your dogs throat has been ripped out?...

  that was the begining of my day... i have no idea what attacked him..whatever it was,was f*cking vicious!

  !..there was a 2 inch hole of missing fur and skin on his neck.....and a severed artery......also a 2 inch hole of missing fur and skin on his leg.....and..another severed artery.....there was blood everywhere... the nearest vet is 1 1/2 hours away..i phoned in and told the doctor to be ready for me... i tied the dogs wounds up with tee-shirts to try to minimilize the bleeding..then put a 100 lb bleeding dog,in the back of the truck..........poor dog tried to stand up in the truck..his neck started to gush with blood..i got him to lie down..the bleeding slowed.....i jumped in the truck and drove..that was one long hour and a half... the doctor came out..looked at the dog,ran back in and brought out a stretcher..it took three of us to bring him in so he would`nt move around..that dog has spunk!..lol!!.

  Only if it's your wife/girlfriend and you're in bed. Oh, and you are about to have sex.

  Then it might not pass Miss Manners smell test.

  Otherwise, it might depend on who, where, etc. Like your boss. Or if it's the guy you think might be your boss.

  if you are internet addict at work, do you have internet at home?

  well, i work from home.

  i have been thinking about getting a job outside of the home and use the internet at work, when i get home from work, there will be no internet at home, so i would not be internet junkie anymore at home.

  I'm so addicted that I have my IPhone and carry it every where. I read the news and blogs pretty much all the time. The only time I don't is when I am driving.

  If I could hook it up to my navigation system, I would.

  What good was Field Service?

  it seems like a massive waste of time.. how many people would successfully convert to the witnesses from field circus?

  it was pretty much a waste of time in spanish language the last several years, and yet english language bros would join the spanish congos because they thought it was so much more productive!.

  What was good?

  When it ended being able to stop at the local food joint for some lunch. In our area that meant Italian Beef or Chicago style hot dogs.

  What was good?

  When it rained we usually didn't go and I got to stay home and watch cartoons.

  What was good?

  It sucked on every level. From the clothing to getting up on Saturday morning when all I wanted to do was sleep in.

  When people come to my door now, selling anything from cookies to tickets to the ice cream social, I always purchase something. Always. I can totally feel the pain of walking around, pounding on doors and hoping someone will support your cause.

  And Midget sport teams--there is a midget football league in my town. It is for kids; boys 5-10 years old. Looks like they will have to change their name.

  Pets and Drinking Water

  my pet will not drink water from the tap.

  absolutely refuses.

  will look at the bowl of water and back at me, then back to water, then look at me again as if to try to communicate something.

  My cats will drink any water available. They love tap water, especially if it is running.

  I purchased a thing that is a fountain for the water bowl. It pushes the water up and down a little slide and they love lapping it from that. They are spoiled.

  I also use reverse-osmosis water, so they are pretty spoiled. Everyone who sees the water fountain for the cats thinks I'm crazy.
