i had a fellow ex-jehovah's witness (who's a male by the way, he has a youtube channel) who sent me a message on facebook saturday morning that was very sexual in nature.
please be careful when added certain people on facebook, just an heads up.

only scientific responses needed smiddy
Science necessarily deals with the measurable and repeatable.
It can only deal with measurable subjects and repeatable events.
I'm not sure that the question has any merit - scientifically speaking.
Unless the poster is using the term in his or her own unique way, which in this case would require and argument for deflection from the norm.

Void is substance

I refuse to have a conversation about G/god with someone who hasn't defined their terms clearly.
so now you have it in your mind, that the wts are not what they say they are, they lie and what have you.. nowwwww, next time you dont go out in fieldservice, and the next time, and the next time people start to wonder.. well, time comes and you have to explain yourself to who ever.
your mom, your dad, an elder, who ever.
now you cant just go about saying, "well, one of the things is that new light is a bunch of crap, because russel predicted this in 1914 and that in 1918 and that in.....".
Don't bother, they'll never listen. This isn't the sword in the stone waiting for the anointed Kind Arthur to pull out and do battle with, it's just a rock-mass of offense, and if you bother with it you'll get crushed.
that might seem odd, but it really suited my personality.
even before i became a jw i was annoying people with personal questions.
the thing is that it's sort of ok in normal land to do that as a cult member, but not as a "normal citizen".. .
Nambo,
Sometimes I want to go show up at a KH and pretend I'm out of town just to go through the experience again.
I'd get jazzed up by the experience.
I used to be the school and FS overseer...the last CO wanted me to get into the substitute CO work and I did too, but that was before I figured things out.

No. I loved it. I was a regular pioneer for 16 years and worked full time the whole time I did it. I started telephone witnessing before the organization pushed it.
I remember this woman getting mad at me at this gas pump at a convenience store and as a result getting gas on her dress becuase she was being a bitch about the whole thing, it was funny.
I loved the whole confrontational thing. I felt the Borg wasn't doing enough to piss off the world and they should've gone back to the days of placards and handing out tracts to church-goers as they entered their churches.
that might seem odd, but it really suited my personality.

Suppose you just go about knocking doors and say....
"I live somewhere in town, but I was kindof wondering what the people 'round here thought of X. What are your thoughts?"
Do that as a JW or a Mormon and it's annoying but OK.
Do that as an individual and people all of a sudden get really, really scared.
fuck you.. i was raised in a jw family in the 1980's-1990's where we had to do the daily text 7 days a week during breakfast at the family table at 7am sharp between 7:00-7:15am.
this was followed by a "spiritual discussion," which was held every morning between 7:15am and 8:00am.. since we were homeschooled, our weekly field service was required from childhood on friday mornings immediately following the spiritual discussion, followed by saturday afternoon field service after the bookstudy, as well as sunday afternoon field service after the watchtower study.. i was also required to read each watchtower and awake magazine and give oral reports about each magazine i read in order for my father to be sure that i had actually read them.
i can't remember for sure, but i think each watchtower and awake was released every two weeks back then, making a new magazine to read every single week, followed by an oral report on every single article (including the watchtower study articles which i also had to read, then study in our weekly family watchtower study where we marked our answers, then studied again at the sunday watchtower study).. in addition to this, we also had a weekly family bible study at night each week, had a family bookstudy at night in which we marked our answers for the saturday morning bookstudy, had a family watchtower study at night where we marked our answers for the sunday morning watchtower study, had a family prayer together every night before bed, every morning before and after breakfast and every night before and after dinner (not including our half-family prayers for lunch by my mother since we were homeschooled.).
Oh, and you don't need to read any books by any alternative de-culting cult like Hassan's to get over it and move on.

No. You never were a faithful witness.
You never had faith to begin with, you were just being obedient to your parents and now you're in rebellion mode.
You need to find something to put faith in and move from there, but your past has no responsibility for your present.
We all need to understand this.
If you're unhappy, it's because of choices YOU are making right now, not because some corporation influenced your family.
