Next few years after I decided to leave the madness within the Org 16 years ago number of people got nervous breakdown. At least two very hardline or radical elders. Also many pioneers and others. Mental illness like depression and paranoia were very common all the time I stayed in, even with indiviuals grown up in the Org. I asked Jehovah why it was so in the "truth". Later I understood. Am sure Jehovah allowed me to leave. The time outside has not been easy but I´m still alive and a stronger and healthyer person.

by highdose inof the congregation i spent my life in i would say a good 75% had nervous breakdowns at some point.
and often there was never really a obivous reason for it.
well not that we jw's could understand at the time.. even the queen bee's/ elderettes were not immune to this.. what about you?.

my grandfather, a brother in good standing since moses developed paranoid schizophrenia in his later years.
he got to the stage where he would knock people over in the street, place his hand on thier head and cast out evil spirits in the name of jehovah.. he was disfellowshiped and not long after he passed away.. this was related to me by a friend years later as i was unaware due to the shunning, i didn't even know he died.

by AllTimeJeff inat a recent series of circuit assemblies, the governing body put out warnings on what in their view is the latest danger from satan, designed to break the faith of jehovah's witnesses everywhere.. facebook.. yes, thats right, apparantly, the gb is concerned because a lot of people are having "facebook sex".
they are meeting old friends who aren't jehovah's witnesses and getting it on with whomever would willingly sleep with them.
evidentally, the gb would like their flock to believe that when jw's get on facebook and other social networking sites, fornication happens.. now, this is news.

the wts desire to control their weakest members - the infirm and chronically ill - by guilting them into "putting forth the effort to be personally present " at the kingdom hall is disgusting.. .

Why not broadcast the meetings live on Internet open for everyone? Many churches do that and gain new members.

how about the middle east (iran, iraq, uae, etc)?
do you think the angels play a great role in getting honest harted people out of these countries( through emmigration) into lands where the preaching work is being conducted to a greater degree.

I think God uses others than Jehovah´s Witnesses. Many members of the underground churches in China preach last days and the return of Jesus Christ, believe Babylon The Great is religion power lead by the Catholic Church and so on.
