i have a pretty good intuition but i have to admit i am going back and forth on the jw tv may broadcast.

i keep asking myself are they really in financial trouble (wishful thinking) or are they just grabbing for more money?.

i always appreciate reading everyone's thoughts and ideas on here.. let me know what you think.

Anti-JW billboard going up in Texas

the first ever billboard has been crowd funded on reddit and will be going up.

i'm curious to know if it will cause a spark in any jw's who already have questions or doubts and lead them to research into the child abuse cases and lead them to the thought that the wt and gb are not inspired or gods mouthpiece.

at the very least it will provide people a topic of conversation and questions to the jw's who knock on their door: "so whats this whole sex abuse in kingdom halls thing about i saw on the billboard down the road?

How hard is it to attend a congregation outside of the territory where you live? Consequences for doing so.

A coordinated effort to bring up Watchtower pedophelia to the public's attention.

a statement that phizzy made on jonathan drake's thread on flyers gave me the following ideas.. we should make a flyer on the issue of the watchtower pedophilia issue written with the object of alerting the public about the jw door to door activity.

phizzy suggested the title, "the paedophile at your door".. on that flyer should be the contact information of our most informed member on the subject who's willing to talk to the media.

Convicted in December 2006 of sexual assault on a minor that occurred between 1985 and 1992, Marcel Simonin, 67, who was an elder in the Jehovah's Witnesses in Châteauguay at the time of the crimes, was sentenced to a term of nine-month prison sentence he will serve in the community.

Believing that the credibility of the accused - who had always denied the alleged acts - was affected for many reasons, the Tribunal declared Marcel Simonin guilty of sexual assault under section 246.1 (1) a), 271 (1) a) and 153 (1) a) of the Criminal Code.

Before 1996, a person convicted of a criminal offense and sentenced to a term of imprisonment of less than two years was to serve his sentence in custody in a prison. Today, a person sentenced to a term of imprisonment of less than two years may serve that sentence in the community if the court considers that a conditional sentence of imprisonment is appropriate.

The Sun tried unsuccessfully last Thursday to join the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Châteauguay for comment. Officially, the Jehovah's Witnesses oppose pedophilia.
