  How do Jehovah's Witnesses get from 1914 to 1919?

  i have written an article that explains how the watchtower society gets from 607 bce to 1914 (http://www.jehovahswitnessblog.com/faqs/why-is-1914-important/) but i need some input so that i can write an article on how they get from 1914 to (via 1918) 1919.. are we talking about ezra, 1:2-4 when the persian king cyrus allows the israelites to go and rebuild the temple 3 and a half years after exiling them?

  if so, how has the watchtower used this passage to get to 1919??.

  Thanks for the tip. I have made changes to it. I am trying to not delve too deeply into this subject as there's no point seeing that 607 BCE is bogus anyway.

  Thanks for all the info guys. Once thing I can safely say is that not all of us are 100% sure where 1919 comes from, which is hilarious, seeing that 1919 is super important.

  October 1914 + 3.5 years = April 1918.

  a friend, and current witness, says the jehovah's witnesses have the truth because they're the only religion that state that satan is in control of the world and not god/jesus as some christian religions state.. how can i counter this argument?.

  A friend, and current Witness, says the Jehovah's Witnesses have the truth because they're the only religion that state that Satan is in control of the world and not God/Jesus as some Christian religions state.

  How can I counter this argument?
