when the JW disassociare or you dissociate. by friends and relatives are ostracized, a treatment that goes against the rights to practice free own ideas, each has to have the right to be able to change religion or to dissociate by it without having inhuman treatment ostracism, all we to form a coalition to bring in judgment the wts for this teaching and treatment.

by bobld inwhy did not the father take to heart the counsel and wisdom of the faithful slave (gb)?what kind of example did he set for his sons?.
circa 1970:the counsel of the faithful slave to teenagers was to go pioneering.they would not complete high school because the end was so near.they would not get married in this system let alone have children.i'am not good at judging age,but i would say the father in the drama would be a young person in the seventies.here we have someone who has a family business,acquired wealth and has enough money so his son doesn't have to work.that was 1970..on wards.here we have a family business 35 years later and the end is not here.today the faithful slave discourages materialism,obvously the father did not listen.good for him,but he missed the point.did not this father say to his son to pioneer because the end was so near.again,why did the father not pioneer,instead of starting a business and making money.. the father should encourage his son to start a business today.and in 35 years the son can encourage his son.. bob.

When did Satan officially become "the god of this system of things?"
by truthseeker ina question i have often asked is when, precisely, did satan become the god of this system of things?.
the old testament does not mention satan as world ruler.
there are vague references in daniel where demonic princes are in charge of various parts of the world, even wrestling with the angel gabriel to prevent him from giving daniel a message.. i would have though that after the flood of noah's day, it was time for a fresh start, but god allowed satan to take up his former role.. a number of scriptures in the new testament suggest that satan was already god of this world.. .

I think that has been from when God has sent away Adamo and Eva from the terrestrial Paradise. was only Satan, then also other angels associated with him..

drama dc 2009
by inbetween inthe drama was really ridicolous, man, but i noticed, in some of the jw objected to it as well,.
first of all my wife, she said it doesnt feel right, and she strongly disliked the music (she has no idea of my being at this forum btw).
then some friends, who also complained about it, but just to us, because they know, we do not judge them for their questions and almost doubts on some things.... i m sure there were more, but they just dont think out loud, and keep it to themselves.... anybody similar experiences ?.

My friend needs help with a question about Jesus Apostles.......
by awildflower inthe other day in conversation with her husband, she was bringing out how jesus didn't start a congregation.
he said that the fact that jesus choice 12 apostles to 'take the lead' and look out after the sheep, is proof that the current elder arrangement is biblical.
she didn't know how to answer him and would like your opinions or research on the topic.. so the question is: are jesus 12 apostles proof of an elder arrangement?.

I think that Jesus is the super viewer of everything, in congregations have be the elder ones, they have autonomous directive and not need GB, in Apocalys Jesus do write to Giovanni singly congregations not collectively , JESU not send letters to the GB, if this existed he had to do this and through to give instructions. but Jesus directly give instructions to church ...(church of people). all Christians in a place and that are managed by Jesus and Angels and not GB

So my mom now knows I'm apostate
by JWinprotest ini finally broke my silence yesterday in a discussion with my mom.
for months now i have been dropping hints here and there that i am not pleased with many things happening in the org, but i would always present it from a concerned jw prospective.
my wife wants us to remain closet jw's because she has bigger reservations of displeasing her family than i do, and wants to continue playing the game.. yesterday however my wife wasn't around, and for the 100th time my mom was ragging on me for attending one of my best friend's weddings because he was marrying a non jw, and the fact that his df'd brother was there.

Is the evil we experience in our lives just "collateral damage" in the issue of universal sovereignty?
by gubberningbody init's not as if i have questions that need resolving.
i know things would likely have been better if jehovah had been listened to.
i am also ready and willing to do what he wants me to do, however exactly what that is isn't so clear.. if we're just pawns and the world is just a chess game between jehovah and satan, then i'm not sure i can wrap my mind around the length of the match and the things that have happened during this time period.. surely we wouldn't consider it morally upright to use humans in this way to prove a point to satan and the angels?.
