  What will the JW religion be like in 2015?

  GREAT SONG DUDE....In the year 2525....I was not even born when it came out, but I LOVE 60's.

  As for the topic I believe WT will run out of followers in the near future. Internet, education, are the negative factors that will drain WT. Just have a look at the internet and see how many ex-jw web sides exist.

  On the other hand the leadership of the cult are trapped to their own past mistakes concerning chronology and they can't get way from it. So for an average JW the "generation" teaching has nothing to do with those JW's during the 80's(like me). At that time we had something solid to hold for the end of this world. Now in the year 2009 all they hear the end is close....

  The alarm bell has really lost the meaning of the current JW's. I believe WT will have a slow fade out since they have NOTHING to give to the rank and file

  You should be happy with for your grand children. I was told the same thing in the mid 80's...remember it was the era of the famous generation...

  I left school few weeks before my graduation to become pioneer since the end was sooo close.....

  Now I'm in my early 40's, my hair start to turn white, a family broken due to WT...I just hate them

  he said the policy that jehovah's witnesses have on how to handle cases of child abuse is without equal in the religious community.

  How could have Rutherford been a 'drunk'?

  i feel that the apostate's claims that rutherford was a drunk to be far fetched.

  on the one hand, they claim that he was so drunk that the brothers at bethel shipped him to san diego to beth sarim, where he stayed drunk out of his mind, then on the other hand, they claimed that he ruled the society with an iron fist, that he was a dictator.

  no drunk could have ruled the society like a dictator.

  Will you give us a break Renaia...the Olyn Molin case is a REAL FACT about Booze Jo he was abusive and had a problem with booze...end of story...

  I just go really-really tired hearing the same old crap from people like you...the easy way is to blame the "apostates"...

  WT has destroyed thousands of lifes in many ways, WT is guilty for false prophesies, dogmas that they change from time to time, scandals starting from their first president Russell, just to name a few, and all you can say is the "bitter apostates"...

  The primary scripture the Society uses for justification in this doctrine is found in 1 Corinthians 5:11 which says:

  "But now I am writing you to quit mixing in company with anyone called a brother that is a fornicator or a greedy person or an idolater or a reviler or a drunkard or an extortioner, not even eating with such a man."

  The scripture cited above in 1 Corinthians is clear that a person with whom the congregation should not mix company is one who is:

  1. "called a brother" (that is, one who professes to be a member of the congregation); and those who:
  2. practicing fornication, greed, idiolatry, reviling (insulting), habitual drunkenness, and/or extortion (theft).

  Since WT are completely hidding the original Greek text of this scripture here is another point to add: In the Original Greek text it says for mixing-sinanamignyete...and is the mixing of 2 compents to have ONE...

  So in the Greek scriptures when we have the word sinanamignyete it has to do with the Holy Communion. This is the only time when the Congregation becomes ONE when they share the mystery of Jesus Flesh and Blood.

  In other words this is what Apostle Paul told: If anyone has gone through serious sin you will not allow to the person to share with you Jesus blood and flesh. Simple as that. And this what the Orthodox Apostolic Church is doing ever since, and there is not even a Biblical evidence that the first Christian Congregation acted like WT does. The Church is a place of spiritual healing for the sinners, not a place of condemnation and hate like WT is

  It is indeed an act of revenge. WT has become a CLUB, and if you want to be member of that club you have to blindly obey their rules, while Jesus has shown unconditional love, WT's followers are doing exactly the opposite. Their friendship and love is with terms and conditions. You have their love as long as you are part of their club...

  And Reniaa can you tell me IF the WT ever disfellowshiped a person for being GREEDY??? Why they are selective in Apostle's Paul council? DO YOU KNOW ANY JW that was disfellowshiped for greedeness??

  I can tell you from my 33 years of expierience as a JW, and 8 of them as a Regular pioneer, MS, and elder, that NO one will get disfellowshiped for greed!!!

  In my cong we had JW who were millioners and they keep expanding their business activities despite the fact of being wealthy. So how can you define a greedy person? Is there any limit of the money and property that a person should own?

  Why did Jesus asked that rich young man to sell ALL of his property, give it to the pour and follow him?

  I guess the reason WT will not disfellowship you for being greed is because they are the ULTIMATE greedy Organization on earth. Their greed for glory, power and money are beyond any limits. Besides what would you expect from an organization that replace Jesus for salvation, and in order to be saved you have to get baptized in "God's spirit directed organization"....

  Hi Mr.Flipper, that is a good topic. In fact that was the end of the WT in my life after they changed the "understanding" of the generation in 1994...I was really mad about it. I left school to pioneer during the mid 80's the end was so close and there was no time to waste at all in this dying system...

  I lost everything just to follow a banch of old fools made in U.S. Then I got really mad when I read the master piece by Ray Franz 'Crisis of Conscious", and Yionson's "Gentile Times reconcidered"...I feld so betrayed by the of the GB and the Org...

  I realized that my life was just begining at the age 0f 39 when finally I was disfellowsiped. There is nothing I can do to get my best years of my life back, but at least I will not waste any more time for that evil cult. I have my own life and I 'm in control of it.

  I know that the WT and their GB are "Nowhere man, sitting in their nowhere land making all his nowhere plans for nobody"

  How Many Personally Heard F. W. Franz Speak?

  i believe i did in 1974, but i was just coming into the org and didn't realize the significance of the part he played.. it was a sunday at a stadium on the campus of the university of alabama in tuscaloosa.

  all the "friends" were almost beside themselves with excitement, so looking back, it must have been f. w. franz!.

  i'd worked until 6 pm that saturday night, had a one year old teething child, and had to arise at 3 am to get ready for the bus trip.. when we arrived, the weather had turned colder, the stadium was quite warm, and i fell asleep a few minutes into the talk.

  I Have A New Grandson But He's Very Sick :(

  he was born yesterday with many complications including breathing problems, possible lung underdevelpment, anemia and body temperature issues.

  the poor little guy was hooked up to a breathing tube and tons of monitors.

  because the hospitals couldn't handle some of the problems, they sent him and my daughter to the best hospital in boston last night.

  it go me thinking about my own situation.

  They do contact with you...in my case I had a call 2 years after I was disfellowship and they wanted to talk to me. I said ok and we had a meeting hearing the usual staff...end is near...the door will close...etc etc. I thank them for their concern and really appreciate them for their time to have a "Bible" discussion...

  That was all, and they had a friendly aproach. There is one and half year ever since ...no one called...
