Also, anyone heard of an organized 'circuit football team'? You had to definetley be in the 'in crowd'. I heard this from a friend who had just got baptized after leaving the truth in his teens, he was an excellent football player and had been invitied to become part of the cicuit team.
I remember that quite a few younger brothers from my old cong used to go somewhere Sussex way to play football quite regularly. Maybe that's what they doing.

hi there im new here so a brief biog to say hi.
ill be a bit vague cos not sure how safe with poss jw's seeing as friends and parents still jw's and im not d'sd or df'd just stopped going.probably being paranoid.wonder why?was brought up jw did 'bad things' in teens whilst pioneering felt sick with guilt then got doubts started hanging with worldlys got grassed up by my sis for doing drugs but manage to avoid ds/da and left fairly quietly.
i live in birmingham england have been my own man for over two years but after the initial great im free feeling i guess im a bit flat now.

Ah yes. Colin Conradie. All I remember that he was married living in Dover while he was in our area. Last I heard was that he'd moved back to South Africa. But that was a while ago, maybe he's split and moved again.

Only ones I remember were:
Short guy, large balding head.
Scottish, loved to carry a big wooden spoon. McFarlan (sp?)
One from South Africa. Used to love the way he said 'you'.
One very short, slightly camp brother.

I think my crime was that I didn't attend all the meetings.

Well I know a few people from there. Even after being there years they still felt like they wasn't accepted due to not being born into the congregation.

One elder who recently gave a local needs talk on bad association and the dangers of the Intenret, said that he was shocked about hearing that some of the Brighton elders had written a note to their wives saying they were leaving them for someone they met on the Internet. They just upped and diappeared. These were some of the speakers who had parts at the Brighton Centre.
A heard a similar thing happened in the Rye cong on the SE coast. An elder sent to help the cong ended up running off with another member's wife.
