... actually, connie was too nice to the jw leaders in her questions ... and i appreciate the two young ex-jw girls who connie interviewed ... they were straight forward, clear, and credible ... and they did a good job making the case ... and kudos to bill bowen for calling the watchtower's statement a bold-faced lie, because that is what it is ... the watchtower society clearly lied as to what they say their policy is, and what has been practiced in real life.

A plea for the silent lambs
by mikepence inin early march of this year, in the echoes of uncertainty left after the horror of 9-11, just one year after i had nearly died myself from a massive, still unexplained, seizure, i determined that i wanted to be a writer.
there were so many things i wanted to write about, my head swirled with possibilities.

August KM Fall Out
by writerpen ini'm curious to know if anyone has noticed different behavior from their dub family and friends since the aug. km about disfellowshipped ones.
i've noticed that my mother is no longer emailing me, nor is she responding to my emails.
i really wish that she would just come out directly and state that she will no longer talk to me instead of just ignoring everything, thinking i will go away.

I'm waiting for something to happen regarding this issue. My family knows that i'm expressing doubts about the whole JW religion and this I feel has led to my younger brother being less willing to associate with me. I do wonder whether this KM will make any difference. I hope not, I was never baptized so I've not made any agreement to anything. Not that this has made any difference to some members of this board's circumstances. Oh well. We shall see. I'll post something if anything comes of it.

Yeah I think so. Digiguide usually updates listings on the Friday whereas most telly listing mags don't appear until Tuesday usually so I get to find out a few days in advance. :)
Apparently the US one will cover around 5000 channels IIRC.

Here are good examples of being unethical
by Bleep incrazydrinker claims he has answered my posts in an ethical way here are just some of his posts that were unethical by the way.
i will address these issues that he has.. you know bleep, im sure someone would ask you about 'hellfire' if you knew what you were talking about, but since you dont, i doubt anyone will ask.
since i know that your answer will be wrong, why should i ask the question?

Disfellowship article-Make them squirm
by good2bgone inthe august km disfellowshipping article will be discussed the weeks of aug 19 & 26. i'm thinking of explaining the shunning policy to a reporter or some friends.
they could go to the meeting that night and explain before the meeting that they are interested in listening and learning what jw's believe and see how they treat others.
would it make the elders squirm when the article is discussed?
