2010 got scared today! OLD AGE! Born in 1972 realized I may only live to 2050!
by Witness 007 inif i live to 80 in 2050 thats in only 40 years and if i'm lucky.....not long.
believing that a "god" will whisk me away to heaven would be very comforting....but i just can't do it.
ever think about dying of old age?.

I'm 60 now. I could die today, but I would like to live 30 more years in good health. I don't want to get ill and not be able to take care of myself.
Anyway I'm pleased so far with what I have experienced, not that everything was what I wished for, but I learned a lot from different crisis in my life.
Almost half my life has passed since I left the Borg, and I'm glad that I didn't loose more years in that mind control.

My JW mother says the Watchtower hasn't sold any buildings in Brooklyn and that people who "left" the HQ still lives in the buildings
by MadameSweden inhello!.
my jw mother just told me about all the fantastic buildings that the watchtower has bought and renovated in brooklyn.. i told her that they will make a lot of money when they sell such buildings.. she said that they haven't sold any of the buildings and that they bought them because they need them as homes for all the "brothers" that work at the head quarter.. i told her that i thought that the wathtower doesn't need that many people at the head quarter anymore.. she agreed to that and said that the people still live in the buildings, but they now have "wordly" employments and pay rent for living in the watchtower buildings in brooklyn.. does anyone here know if the things she told me are true?.

Hello!
My JW mother just told me about all the fantastic buildings that the Watchtower has bought and renovated in Brooklyn.
I told her that they will make a lot of money when they sell such buildings.
She said that they haven't sold any of the buildings and that they bought them because they need them as homes for all the "brothers" that work at the head quarter.
I told her that I thought that the Wathtower doesn't need that many people at the head quarter anymore.
She agreed to that and said that the people still live in the buildings, but they now have "wordly" employments and pay rent for living in the Watchtower buildings in Brooklyn.
Does anyone here know if the things she told me are true?

More Quotes in the WT from Supposedly Rank and File bros and sisters?
by youngapostate ini've noticed that lately (maybe as of a year ago or so) there have been personal quotations in every single study article.
it seems a brother or sister always sends in the exact quotation that would fit perfectly into an article.
has anyone else noticed this?.

MadameSweden
Maybe the article writers sent her the quote and asked her to confirm that this is exactly what she wanted to have said.
