  so we are watchin new christine and there are several child birth scenes of agony......and i tell my wife to be glad she never had to go through that.....she agrees............and i say..."why the hey did god have to make that so awfully painful?".............

  she says "he did not".......i. i say "oh ya he did.".....

  she says "not originally"...... i say "and then he did!".........

  Why is the US so afraid of Social Health Care?

  i just don't get why the us is so afraid of social health care, and is so opposed to the canadian and british models.

  the plain fact is that there are far more americans without access to health care than the combined populations of sweden, norway, denmark and finland.. a measure of the maturity of any society has to be how it sees fit to re-apportion its wealth.. we are quick to criticise african leaders who line their own pockets but leave the masses in poverty but cannot see that blindly following capitalist principles is much the same.

  if we live in a wealthy society then part of that wealth has to be put back into society as a whole.. .

  The ones in those countries probably wouldn't mind seeing 99% of the world's population lying in blood covered heaps and being eaten by birds and lions. Jehovah should really be using them......I certainly don't want any part of any "dead body brigade."

  they did say that, in calling their 1914 generation prophecy 'the creator's promise".

  My issue with this whole thing is: What is their motive for doing this? If they are overly excited about when the end will be and jumped the gun on the prediction, then admit it. And don't tell everybody that you speak exclusively for God. The other motive: fear-mongering and sucking as many people ( $$$) in as possible.
