Most people like me. But the ones who don't like me.....REALLY, REALLY don't like me.
I think it's because I have a low tolerance for people who dish out s**t.

Actually, you need to check that out. The questions you are asked at the time of your baptism:
1. Have you repented of your sins?
2. The second question involves dedicating yourself to the organization, not Jehovah God.
They changed the second question about 20+ years ago. When I was baptised, I dedicated myself to Jehovah. 25 years later, when my son was baptised, he dedicated himself to the organization.
just having had my circuit assembly recently, i felt that the expenses in a watchtower-owned building seemed extremely over-inflated.
over $9000 for two days.
there were approximately 750-800 in attendance each day.
i am about to take the plunge.... will keep you posted!.
Sadly, many things about the org will make sense after reading that book.

One question for you: Let's say the WT completely reverses it's stand on blood tomorrow. All the reasons they've given for avoiding blood transfusion are now out the window, and now NEW reasons are given for why it's acceptable.
( This is not far-fetched.....they did this with the disfellowshipping doctrine.......printed an article outlining all the "scriptural" reasons why it was WRONG and later reversed the decision, printing an article outlining all the reasons it was now RIGHT.....Gee, seems like the Bible can be worked to fit WHATEVER doctrine you want to enforce......)
