  my wife and my close friend life is too short is recovering from a hernia operation performed yesterday.

  she is doing fine, just a bit sore .

  she worked really hard in bethel and had a hernia before from lifting too much in her job back there.

  Genetics is soooo amazing, isn't it! Yes, you two look very much alike.

  I never met my great-grandmother, but from pictures - I look very much like her. My grandmother has told me stories about her and I feel very attached to her, although she died many years before I was born.

  Today my husband surprised me...

  yesterday we were getting our van repaired and while that was going on we decided to window shop at a really cool furniture consignment shop.

  i saw a baker's rack that was really nice and that i would love to have.

  hubby looked at it too and thought it was a nice piece but we had to leave the shop to pick our van.

  2 years ago today, my grandson began his walk from orlando fl to washington dc to publicise the plight of homeless children.

  he was 14 at the time.

  i've just ordered something from a bizness up in canadia, and the guy is telling me delivery may be slow because the canadian post office is on "partial" strike.

  is he telling me the truth, or is he a hoser?
