So glad you chose to save her life feather than make her a martyr for the watchtower. She’s beautiful and as a parent myself I know how much she must have you wrapped around your finger. But hey it’s all worth it.

First year with baby!

Expected pain

we know what to expect but things happen from family and it still hurts just as bad.
last night my wife got a long text message from her brother that has seemed to be in the fence and he told her that same guilt tripping rhetoric that the wt uses about life in the paradise etc.

Thank you lovinglifenow that was the reason I posted that on here I felt that I can express myself in his forum and everyone so far has been gracious and loving. Kinda the opposite of what we born ins were taught. I’ve been able to use some of everyone’s words here to help my wife too.

Thank you dub. I appreciate your comments. I am having to slow the wife down I don’t plan on saying anything to her family till we are about to move across states. Then the biggest thing will be about answering a phone and not worrying about them showing up on our doorstep. It’s sad that it has to be that way but we all deal in our own way.

Thank you everyone! It’s alwyas easier to read and hear others experiences than it is to live through it. It really does reinforce how messed up this religion is. And dad no I don’t blame him I’m not even mad he is a product of the way he was raised just like we all are but some of us have been fortunate enough to break free from that. My wife is taking it the hardest understandibly but I am tore up over it too.

Last week was a big week for me in terms of coming totally clean to my wife and her being more than on board to leave the jw’s with me. Last night my wife got a long text message from her brother that has seemed to be in the fence and he told her that same guilt tripping rhetoric that the wt uses about life in the paradise etc. He also told her that if she disassociated herself that he wouldn’t talk to her. She knows the religion is behind it but that doesn’t make the emotional toll any easier. You can read stories till you’re blue but it still doesn’t make the reality any better. My heart is aching for her as I know this isn’t the last of it either. Thanks for reading my rant.

what is funny on each end of this short street are cart setups with 3 people on each cart.

My wife who has been waking up with me lately has been using it and realizes that the information there is accurate about the watchtower no matter what country you live in. Yes they still do the door to door preaching. They only have 3 magazines of each the watchtower and awake to place each year now and are only 16 pages long each. They are encouraged to use the videos and direct people to their website. It’s a whole different ministry now.

Big news today
by former2free infor you who have read my bio you will know i have been working on my wife to wake her up.
now i won’t call her awake yet but through a series of long conversations this week i revealed to her my dissenting toward the jw faith.
she was totally supportive of me assured me she would never think differently of me because of how i feel.

She literally just told me she has no problem leaving however we want to she just worries about her purpose which I understand that’s the only thing that’s gonna take some time it’s a big step but as you all have mentioned baby steps and that’s what we will do.
