  i am am currently in that situation of being controlled in that way I’m working my way out but my wife’s family is the blackmail. It really sickens me but I have to deal with it till I can get my wife and kids free of this cult.

  The sad thing about the whole thing is that because the video is designed to bypass logic and reasoning and go straight to emotion is that the witnesses will actually cause their own persecution and many will lose their lives for something that isn’t even real. Then those ones will become martyrs for the organization and be used to trap countless more into it all.

  The new convention theme is Pick your look-aid and drink as long as it’s the flavor the gb says it can be. Hahaha. I almost honestly see something like this happening and then having some obscure scripture in the Bible that they will surely revise to make it ok. Just imagine the headlines.

  i know now I was hoping to learn of sources that are legitimate but also not associated with watchtower. I am looking to start a portfolio of sorts so I have accurate information especially when I approach my wife with it.

  thanks for that link link it’s really sickening how they are such hypocrites and how we could all have been duped for so many years. And to my parents you’re right the accounts reports are vague at best almost makes me wanna raise my hand at the next one and ask for a detailed accounting of where it all goes ( I won’t don’t worry) but I’d love to see the reaction.

  That’s the problem right there isn’t it. I’ve been trying to research it with no success. I know they have investments in government and military but I have as of yet been able to find good proof.

  oh where to begin i am a born in witness witness mother and father and grandparents though only 2 of the 4. i was born in the early 80’s and immediately my parents faced the blood transfusion issue course in their minds at the time it wasn’t an issue it was not gonna happen.

  i don’t wanna go into too much detail but fortunately it worked out well as is evidenced by my writing of this back story.

  i had the usual spiritual goals that most witness children have i got baptized at 13 then i started running mics and doing sound and giving more talks.

  Thanks diogensister and yes I’m ok with the word “CULT” but what I am backing off from saying is the the derogatory word “WORLDLY” but witnesses are impartial. But as far as the childhood things I’m old enough not to care anymore especially what all normal kids do. I’ll look at that link later when I can and thanks.
