For you who have read my bio you will know I have been working on my wife to wake her up. Now I won’t call her awake yet but through a series of long conversations this week I revealed to her my dissenting toward the jw faith. She was totally supportive of me assured me she would never think differently of me because of how I feel. I told her I’m gonna stop going to the meetings and service and she was supportive. The only thing she mentioned is that she may stil want to go occasionally and I supporter her decision but if I’m to be honest I don’t think she will go very often if at all. I hope that she uses this to fully wake up herself as I believe she is only partially awake.

Advice on my JW Mother
by InjusticeSystem ini need the advice of those of you who are exjw's on what to do about my still in mother.
briefly, here's the situation: i am a born-in, never got baptised (thank the fsm), became an athiest about 2015 but haven't come out to anyone but my wife and some trusted friends.
my mother was raised in the society and is a true believer, but was never as strict about it as some parents are when i was growing up.

First off you are very fortunate to still have her in your life. You made a valid point about the religion and the relationship you can have with her. Ultimately the decision on how you want to proceed is up to you. But I would work the truth about the truth in small ways to help her to think. Maybe bring up some other things as time goes on she will have to ultimately wake up fully herself though. Cherish what you have I recently had a reunion with my parents who are considered apostate as I am physically in but mentally out. I know once I leave fully my wife will lose her parents to the indoctrination. So hang in there friend and just do what’s best for your situation.

I don’t know about anyone else’s experience but I have never been a big contributor at the hall except for every once in a while. Course knowing what I do now I won’t ever again. However, in all fairness I never felt pressure to donate. So this new arrangement makes it even easier to get away with not doing it. I do agree with you designer I hope it does blow up in their face and that people donate less to the child sex crime cover up I mean the witness work hahaha. But unfortunately for the typical indoctrinated member they will probably set up automatic payments and the org will get what they want.

I like and dislike your comment flipper in that it’s very true I dislike the part that I’m still in it and can’t just up and leave without major ramifications but as you know I’m working on my exit plan. Keep up the great comments my friend.

Seems like the GB is a group of old perverted men who get pleasure out of these discussions. Also, Matthew 12:34 For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
Seems like they have an abundance of sexual fantasies from the way they always talk about it so the best way to hide their desires is to condemn everything and elevate themselves.

Brokeback I had the pleasure of speaking with her a few weeks ago and she was the original person to start questioning the child abuse policies. I know the society is scared of her and rightly so especially with her intimate inside knowledge of the organization. I am so happy she is doing what she’s doing and exposing them and unmasking this organization for what it is.

Sigfrid I’m not sure what your question is regards to. Is it based on brokebacks comment or do you mean something else altogether?

Is Child Abuse An Issue That You Personally Have Seen In The Organization?
by minimus inas an elder, i saw one child abuse situation involving a man who wanted to be an elder and had i believe 8 children.
he was not in our congregation when this all erupted.
he denied it and moved to another hall and unbelievably, that body of elders wanted to appoint him since they believed his entire family was lying about him.

I don’t want to come off wrongly here but I hope one of the ex-elders here gets called into a court hearing about a case and can expose the watchtower for how badly they direct them to handle these cases. I don’t want anything to happen to this person of course but he would have an inside knowledge and be able to speak without watchdog looming over his statements and hopefully give the court system a big awakening to these cases and then get more people to stand up.
