although i have never been a jw, the cover to the book, so to speak, sure looks good.
i have noticed many conveniences they thay enjoy:.
no christmas.
Have to disagree with you being a JW is not a convenience.
Think it's easy being weird?

i get sick and tired of hearing the watchtower lie that they.
have no 'clergy- laity' distinction.. the hypocrisy in this is almost incredible.
the society wants.
They recently stated this in the WT 01.01.02 p 6-7
Jehovah's Witnesses...have no clergy/laity division, they are not segregated according to skin color or wealth.
I became ill when I read this bold face lie!
Even hard core JWs know this is a lie.

are ex-jws, flamers, agnostics and atheists more advanced spiritually and emotionally than fully-active jws?.
this is how m.scott-peck describes the 4 basic stages of spiritual development.
personally i can relate to stage 3 quite comfortably, but if i talk to a witness who may be a very devout and religious person i often feel as though this person is dragging me back into a lower stage, generally stage 2. what do you think?.

Stage V - The Drinker: People in this stage exhibit a communal, mystical spirituality, having been affected by looking through the bottom of a beer glass too much. They see the world through a golden-brown haze of alcohol, and are usually found preaching to people who don't want to listen to their message in pubs and bars across the country. If you look into their eyes, you will see a certain redness, the result of their extremely rigorous spiritual training and being part of the drinking community for too long. This stage is better than the lower stages because when they argue, they are usually too pissed to argue for more than 5 minutes wihtout falling off their barstool.
Maybe, but I don't think this stage is necessarily part of our common human development. Everyone doesn't go through this stage just drinkers.
I did this stage simultaneously with my atheist stage. So stages can over lap too!

hello to everyone this memorial season...... yes another memorial season is upon us and a lot of talk and questions as to: how many will eat and drink?
what will be the number?
or is it finally going down?.
no editing? Be prepared for many typing errrrrors.

English ,
These are stages many of us have been through. I was raised a Catholic. Then I was an atheist when the JWS came along.
However, these stages may not happen in the order you describe. And each stage may be repeated more than once.
