  Do Jws help disfellowshipped ones or apostates?

  do you think that, if say you fell over and and seriously injured yourself in the street, would a jw you knew passing by help you knowing that you were disfellowshipped or so called apostate.

  maybe even come to see you at home if you were unwell or depressed,i mean how many witnesses have assisted or helped you when you needed it mostly,you see i thought they were supposed to encourage you to become so called spiritually stronger.but saying that when you were active as a jw do you think you were helped in times of distress or illness by your fellow jw,for instance i know a woman who's still a witness but hasnt been to meetings for say a year and thats because she has severe athritis and guess what only 1 j-dub has wrote to her so to her it seems like if your not a regular at meeting you may as well be classed as disfellowshipped.

  If Jaws help DF'd or apostate ones they must do it in secret. Any contact would be considered contamination. So, the opportunity is not always presented.

  I have this friend who needs some advice...

  i have a friend named uhhh... timmm, who is in a bit of a quandary.

  he has decided to go public with his apostate leanings, because it is becoming too hard to play the role of a meek, spiritually weak witness--complete with looks of pity and concern from his mother and siblings, and contempt from his sister-in-law.

  timmm is sure one brother will have nothing to do with him after this, and he can live with that.

  If it does the individual good to stay in the org then why rock their world!

  These are some questions he may ask himself about the situation.

  Is it harming these individuals to remain and how so?

  Are they having difficulties as a result of their dysfunctional relationship with the WT?

  Would they consider seeking treatment for co-dependency and/or other related psychological issues?

  Are these individuals capable of living in reality without suffering from depression and frustration.

  Some of us are realists and some live in the dub concept of reality. I believe most apostates are realists and dubs for life are not capable of living in reality.
