The Stanly Theatre is in Jersey City, NJ. Wikipedia says, "It was bought by Jehovah's Witnesses in 1983 for $800,000 dollars, seven years later they bought the surrounding buildings also". Some say it was bought for $18 Million. I'll have to look into it. Just wondering about PALMTREES thoughts, I know she loves NYC but it has nothing to do with the Stanley Theater.

Whats those squiggily lines upbove the sign? It looks like the middle one says, "kid oid" and then has brackets that resemble a bed. Maybe they molest kids. No wonder there's no windows!!!!

They forgot to put a door in this one. And a window would be nice.

What do you expect? They build them in 24 hours, and they must design them even faster.

Some other sites you might want to consider: Freeminds.org , JWfacts.com, and call 1-800-WHY-1914. the 1800 number you will talk to a real person who can answer all info on 1914. She's a nice lady who can also give you one-on-one advise. I went through the same thing 10 years ago. Its tough, but I am soooo much happier now than I was any day as a JW. The Watchtower org. has a way with mind control, and you my find as you awake from the mind control you don't even know who you really are. The first step for me was to learn about who I really was. Learn to know yourself first. If you know yourself you will know God. After all he made us in his image.

There once was a man from Nantuket. With a di** so long he could suck it. He said with a grin as he wiped off his chin, if my ear was a cu** I would fu** it.

Good News to Make You Happified
by Farkel inhappified is a real watchtower word(tm), by the way!.
if you want to give the wts credit for anything, then at least give them credit for their remarkably simple solution to every ill suffered by mankind.. it is a "one size fits all" solution and might be part of the appeal the wts has attracting people who have a hard time with reason and common sense.. they won't specifically tell you what that solution is, though.
if they did, they would even get less converts than they get now, and currently they ain't gettin' many.

Other religions I personally feel are much more giving than the Witnesss are
by Leprechaun injehovahs witnesses, they dont help people like the mormons do from their bishops store house, or the salvation army and a host of other religions, i wonder how they get away with that in gods eyes.
and even if youre a jehovahs witness you dont get much from the gb for working you ass off if they do it is a meager amount, or just donated time from others if your sick or something, they want people to work their asss off on some kingdom hall build for free food and donuts & coffee and if you fall off a ladder and break your back or skull just try to get compensated for your medical somehow from the gb, and watch their legal department send you a letter that will say your shit out of luck buddy, i wonder if that has ever happened.

Any WINE buffs on here ?
by wobble ini am not an expert on wine, can't afford to be, but i do like a good one, preferably red, but i have tasted some excellent rose and white.. my question is for the benefit of my sister in law, she is a chain smoker, and perhaps for that reason cannot abide a wine that is even slightly dry, she only drinks white, but does not enjoy the sweet white she has bought (cheapo bottles) so sticks lemonade in medium or dry white.. that is o.k if she is paying, but i often buy a good quality white, around $20 , and she desecrates it by pouring in the lemonade !.
can anyone recommend a wine, not too expensive, that she would enjoy ?
i suppose for her strange palate it would have to be "sweet" , but she hates sickly sweet.

Oh yes, PSacramento is right about Pinot Noir. Those are excellent too. The Pinot Noir grape is those rather large sized ones and are found to be one of the harder grapes to get the right amount of fermentation to make quality wine. When it passes the test and its bottled it is superve!
