  why do elders ask such personal questions when deciding whether to disfellowship

  a friend of mine was asked if she had become "moist" along with had penetration actually taken place , why is that necassary to ask along with did you fondle breasts etc surley they could keep it short and ask if the "deed " was done , yes or no ?

  why all the other questions ?

  she was only 19 with no experiance of life and sex and was so embaressed she could not answer and was disfellowshipped for being "cocky" any ideas ?.

  step 2: get baptized in 1975 when you are 16 because armageddon is coming and you don't want to die.

  step 3: continue being brainwashed and mind controlled for the next 30 years because you don't want to die at armageddon.

  But seriously, I am sorry that your family considers you dead. I do understand the feeling. I think, though, that you can now do what you needed to do back in the '70s. Time to start planning your life. Many good books out there (I like "7 Habits" and "First Things First" by Stephen Covey to start), and of course, there are counsellors who can help. This Forum has great suggestions too. Try to get involved in an activity or organization that appeals to you. Perhaps volunteer some of your time to those less fortunate. Begin to make new friends to replace the people who have decided to exclude you.

  but, but it is imminent. that guy said so.

  Rutherford said the same thing back in the late 30s and early 40s. "In the months before Armageddon..." He urged young people not to marry or have children... that there was much work to be done. Seventy years later, the cry is now "It is imminent!".

  It will be interesting to see if this guy in the video has the gonads to admits that he made a complete ass out of himself like Rutherford did.

  If one cries wolf too much, one is no longer believed or listened to.

  i asked an elder about jcs.

  i said that it seems to me if you did something wrong and went to 1 cong - you may get d'fed.

  if you move congs and instead go to the elders in the new hall, you may simply get private reproof.

  People monitoring social networking sites

  unsure if there is another thread on this, but i just wanted to put my two cents out there.. it seems that there are certain people in my cong who either have nothing better to do, or are self appointed saviours, who have apparently been monitoring my social networking page.

  they were my friends on said page, because i actually am/was friends with a few, not good, but still, friendly enough.

  i thought i had my settings so that they couldn't see most things, but apparently i wasn't vigilant enough!.
