even if the united states is the only superpower, can it really make war with iraq, and tackle north korea, and keep an eye on china, and other countries at the same time?
why does the us always have to take care of troubled spots all over the world by itself?

I don't know if they can police the whole world, but it looks like they are going to give it a try. I am being called back to duty. Anyone else? They are willing to give me a choice between being a parttime soldier or a full time soldier. I'm not about to be a parttime soldier. Parttime soldiers are national guards. I don't know where all this fighting is going to get us but i hope something positive comes from it, all i can do is trust my governement is doing the right thing.

there have been a whole bunch of probing questions in new threads lately.
people are encouraged to spill their guts out on the most sensitive of topics including jeopardizing their identities with questions about what they like on their pizzas.
just call me old fashioned, but some of these polls look like information-gathering the wts would love to mine.
I admit I did do a couple of polls, I don't think the questions I asked would hurt anyone but you never know. I will be more careful of what questions I ask others in the furture. You make a good point about some I don't trust the internet a whole lot therefore, I don't put out personal information about myself and if I want to know personal information (like names,addresses etc) about others I would ask in a private e-mail letter. I would hate to think someone was hurt over my questonings.
Another good point you make is saying you believe they are watching, I don't think that's being paranoid because I was a lurker for a while before I came on and I see others are making their selves known now too, I am sure the wts is lurking also.

Seriously, Colin Powell would have been the vice president if he had not backed out.I'm sure he had other problems going on in his life (like any other human) but the press had started attacking his family life . They tried putting his wife in a negative light at his first press conference, they began asking question her mental state and the medication she was taking ( I think the medicien she's taking is helping her nerves). I guess they wanted to make something out of it but he wasn't going to deal with it. I feel he would have made a fine vice president.

I agree 100% on that, that's all the public needs to hear is some scorned ex-member falsely accused elders of pedophilia because she was going to be df. It could cripple the work of the true survivors.
