Fun meeting with an elder
by teel ina few days ago an elder, old aquaintance of mine visited me (alone, which was my request - props for him for accepting my terms).
it was quite an interresting meeting.
this elder is quite intelligent, he is a professor at a local college.

With so many "Branches" in little countries the WTS runs the risk of some big plans filtering out.
Cutting down on branches also helps control who has access to highly confidential information.
The cost cutting gained from the closure of these offices can't really be much. They would of course
still maintain Special Pioneers, especially those who had high offices and know a lot of confidential
information.
It's to me another example of the WTS rounding up the wagons mentality.

Although I don't doubt that the distribution by hand of the SGO might save some pennies per congregation,
for me the idea that it is being handed out like the Kingdom Ministries reinforces the fact that it is a "for
publishers only" issue. It makes the R&F Witness think they are special, and taken care of, when their
SGO passes out the issues on time. Have you ever been under a brother who took forever to hand out
KMs? People hate that. They feel uncared for, as if their share of "food" wasn't served at the "right time".
I think it's very controlling and it may help develop the mentality of rounding up the waggons because
the end is "soooo near" and "imminent".

get them like they get their KMs, that is by having their Service Groups Overseer hand deliver them.
Another way to exercise control for control's sake and make the SGOs busier and feeling more and
more important. Now SGOs got something else to do, they're actively helping in distributing the Kool-
aid at the proper time.

Siso, as a newbie expect to be run through the mill,
made to walk a path of red embers and verbally abused
by the ol' timers who have nuttin' better than be ornery
to the un-initiated. It's just the way things seem to get
done here, don't take it personally. There's a lot of helpful
folks who'll give some good advice along the way if you
stick it out. Anyway, from one newbie to another, good
to have you asking questions in the forum, it's ok to ask
even if some think it a sin.

Help! Today's (5/23) WT study
by Dagney inanybody who went, was there any supposedly "nooo" light regarding trouble in the congos during the last days?
got a call from a "sis" on the way to the meeting telling me about this interesting "nooo" light.
not sure exactly what she was saying, something like "satan (i know i know) is actually bringing people into the congregations to disrupt them.

I wonder if this may not be a way of subliminally casting doubt on the genuineness of those who claim to be new anointed ones in recent years ?
Difficult for them to do, directly, some of the GB have not been anointed for that long.

That's exactly what's been going through my mind about the
whole new "wheat and weeds" study article. It's their way of
saying sure the partakers numbers are going up but how many
of them are really "weeds" and not "wheat".
It's just so disgusting. Notice how they quote from Romans and
Galatians but always manage to avoid Scripture like: Gal. 3:26, 27
" Y OU are all, in fact, sons of God through YOUR faith in Christ Jesus.
For all of YOU who were baptized into Christ have put on Christ."
They're showing their fruit, just like the Pharisees, they deny entrance
to the Kingdom and neither do they themselves go in.
