it does to me. i totally believe in it, and that we each have a lesson to learn during our earthly life, and then when we learn it, we go onto the next life. it makes more sense than heaven, hell, devil and angels anyway...

Do dubs deal with death better than others?
by SpiceItUp ingoing to that funeral this week made me think about a few things.. first the family members that attended, who btw were not dubs, were shedding tears.
i did not see anyone else there crying even though the woman who died was a great friend and will really be missed.. now since the dubs have the hope of the "resurrection" does that allieviate their grief that they should normally posess?
does that mean they are "happy" when someone dies because their wait is over?

well, if telling yourself that so-and-so just "went to sleep" means "dealing with it", then yes...

You are addicted to LIFE!
You are outgoing and content with yourself. You make friends easily and have high goals to aim for. You are too good for drugs and all that bad stuff. (Some people would even go as far to say you are a goody-two-shoes.) :) But that's okay. Stay the way you are and you will get the most out of life!Copy the following code to place in your livejournal, blog, weblog, etc.

p.s. here's an interesting note about the opening band's (deadsy) lead singer - he is the son of gregg allman and cher. anyway, i'm taking my son to see them tonight, and his friend. (i'm wearing earplugs) goodnight

July 29, 2002 09:38:42- Korn crib Rockers find inspiration in Valley Although Korns powerful live show is always a force to be reckoned with, its concert here Thursday may bring an extra punch, thanks to the band's affinity for the Valley. When the group sought a change of scenery to write a new album last year, it came to Scottsdale and had what one member calls "one of the best times of our lives." 1 SCARY STUFF Korn moves into video in a big way on this tour, which supports the dark, new 'Untouchables' CD. "The show opens with a little horror movie," drummer David Silveria says. 3 AFTER HOURS With the Phoenix show the last on Korn's 24-city outing, we wonder whether the band will head to its favorite Scottsdale night spots after the last power chord sounds. Cat Eye Lounge and Babe's Cabaret were their hangouts. * * *

oh i just read this! (and i knew you weren't talking about me, Simon, because you know all and see all. i just wanted to explain to you, since it was brought up. i know it takes an enormous amount of effort to keep this wonderful site up and running, and mainatining all these accounts. i hadn't thought about that part of it before.)
see, Simon's on the job everyone, so lighten up just a little ok? we're all still brothers and sisters but in a better positive way, aren't we?
~incense of the "i-don't-count-how-many-posts-people-make-or-how-many-user-names-they-have-or-edit-the-content-of-their-posts-for-seriousness-or-validity-or-ask-anyone-to-justify-themselves-or-their-time-spent-here-or-call-anyone-troll-or-suggest-mental helath-counseling-to-my-fellow-posters" class. live and let live, i always say.
p.s. that comment wasn't directed to anyone in particular, i just want everyone to know where i stand on this kind of thing and oh brother even as i'm typing this it seems kind of silly and unnecessary. oh well. as scarlett o'hara would say. "tomorrow is another day".
p.p.s. hereafter, i shall only be known as "Incense_and_Peppermints" to satisy the sensibilities of some of the more apprehensive posters. (but stop posting FUN stuff? only when they can pry my cold dead fingers from my mouse, haha)

Incense, why do you need all those different accounts? It makes it hard to keep track of who is posting what...but hey, if that's your style...I thought Pale Recluse was just a newbie!
i thought i did a marvelous job explaining myself in my orignial post. i believe i also asked Simon to remove freerange and pale recluse and neon. please note that i have never ever flamed anyone under those other names. please also note that when i am serious and "sincere" i use my original account "incense". i can't help that recluse's profile says "newbie". recluse never said recluse was new or a witness or anything to that end.
imbue said: Then, there are some with multiple accounts that glut the board with fluff threads. This does effect the time more sincere threads may spend on page one."
is this what you mean by a "sincere thread"?
phalluses everywhere! for nelly&Joy Mar 09, 2002 10:53
This is decicated to Nelly and Joy2bfree.There are to many phalluses in the world: check this out Judy Chicago created this instillation in the 70s. It was a famous art show now apart of art history. The title is, The Dinner Pary[/i. It's a triangular table with ceramic plates in vaginal designs.
Look for The Dinner Party : hope these linkes work (can't edit)

*********** signed, incense who doesn't give a crap who posts what and who doesn't police every thread and psychoanalyze her fellow posters and who doesn't ask them to justify their actions or why they are here or why they post what they do, etc. PS i already asked Simon to do whatever he felt was necessary and i'm sure he will. PSS i am not the only person here with multiple identities. the ones shown here are the ones i have, which are going away even as we speak... thank you for your concern.

Do you love people more now that you're out?
by writerpen ini was thinking about this the other day.
since i've left the borg, i find myself loving other humans more.
like all the little children being abducted, the miners trapped in the mine last week, the victims of car accidents that i pass on the road, a woman crying in the car next to me while waiting for the green light, the homeless that i see every weekend at a local soup kitchen where i volunteer, etc.

oh, thewiz, i just saw this: pale recluse i am with you. but i'm not jesting.someone please show me how to love.
i'm just wondering how this comment was overlooked, like a gem on a beach! i never went back in this thread after i made that little offhand remark, and now i see this comment from you, glimmering with honesty and vulnerable in all its purity...
-incense (aka pale recluse, which i won't be using anymore after today)
