Wow, that "new light" is like a flicker, isn't it?
more like a strobe light...
just one more illustration of how jacked the org really is....
jw women have a greater need than jw men to stay ever vigilant and attentive of the watchtower's back and forth rules and regulations which they have the nerve to teach is "new light" from god.
depending on the "new light" from the governing body, if she doesn't scream during a rape, she will be charged by the elders as an adulteress ... someone who may have actually 'enjoyed' the violent act because of her silence.
if another jw woman was raped in 1969 and she didn't scream, she would not be disfellowshipped.

the 4-15-52 wt.
says it is by satanic design to untheocratically elevate the woman above the man.tipping your hat to a woman could possibly lead to improper advances.it sets a woman apart because of her sex.it is subtly disguised creature worship!.
more wisdom from the faithful slave.......
i see absolutely nothing wrong with a little creature worship every now and then...

god has been patient with evil in the world since the days of adam and eve.
his day is not tarrying but is right on schedule.
god, however, is presently showing patience and self-control, not only with the world of unbelievers but also with the congregation of his faithful witnesses.
before i became a witness, god was just called "god". after that, he was "jehovah". always. i never stopped referring to him as "jehovah" until i left the "truth". i'm just wondering why you refer to him as "god" and not "jehovah"... that's one thing jehovah's witnesses pride themselves on is being the only religion to use his name faithfully.

yeah, denver and phoenix are close, but isn't p-town damn hot and dry? 100+ degrees every day?
it's a dry heat
you don't have to ski to ride the lifts. they open the park in the summer and you get a fantastic view of the valley. you probably don't need a sweater 'cause you're used to the cold. to us phoenicians, 55 degrees is practically freezing.
dustrabbits do quite well in the heat out here. i almost ran over one the other day, seriously. thankfully he ran faster than i drive! (i drive a little volkswagen beetle anyway - if i had hit him i probably would have just dinged him a little
but as i said, i happen to like colorado. i like visiting there. i like the scenery and the towns. you had to have driven through empire on your way to winter park. isn't that a pretty little place. like something out of a movie or something.

i love colorado! have you ever been to winter park? my aunt has a condo there, next to some woods and a little river. god you can *breathe* up there! i just love it. nothing but aspens for miles around, whispering softly in the breeze. in july you wear sweaters! there's a little place there where you ride the ski-lift to the top and eat lunch, then you come down again and play miniature golf. it's so beautiful i can hardly stand it. there's a train that goes by in the wee hours, but you're so relaxed, you don't care. we went to this huge park and there was no one there. we walked right up to the rr tracks and watched the train as it sped by. pretty cool.
hey, denver isn't that far from phoenix, you know...
