Biometrics, I'm not saying you're wrong, just saying I'm not sold on it. There aren't written records, but we know through archeaology about what time period bows, nets and traps were invented, and yes, about when agriculture began. We do continue to find stone age tools afterall. That's not fiction, it's fact, unless you're a young earth creationist. Even then, I'll agree it doesn't necessarily prove anything about their diet. It may have been so difficult to catch large animals that it was more of a delicacy than a daily part of their diet. Who knows, they might have been happy with carrion left over from more capable predators.

I'm not quite sold on that biometrics since we didn't develop agriculture until 10,000 years ago. Humans definately didn't eat grains then. Lot's of fruits, nuts, berries, roots, wild vegetables, and whatever they got by hunting and fishing, which probably accounted for a lot of it during non-seasonal parts of the year. Lots of fiber, but probably an overall low-carb diet. Basically whatever the heck they could find or kill.

put aside your religious or moral standards if you can for a moment and give me your viewpoint on this......... generally, the 'beautiful people' pair off with other 'beautiful people' in a sexual union for however long, and the average lookers meet other average lookers and so on down the line until you come to.......................those who don't appeal to the opposite sex due to appearance, injury, illness or mental capacity.. can, or should, these people be given access to those in the sex trade for 'relief' without cause for fear or stigmatising ?

or is it a case of "that's too bad" (meaning you're committing fornication and that cannot be sanctioned in any way)?.

have you ever needed to counsel a person (or their parents) on this ?

I respect your views, but I think many of the examples you cite are the exception and not the rule. I.E. Some women have stronger arms than some men, but in general it's the other way around.

I guess that depends on where you live. In most of the US those people are sh!t outta luck for any happiness in life. Most have the choice of being institutionalized and giving up what little freedom they have or living on the street begging for money from their wheelchair. Then they're doomed to have their life unhappily extended by feeding tube and ventilator once the rest of their body gives up. We don't seem too concerned with quality of life, we just eek out every second possible, even if it's miserable.

an eminent uk engineer is suggesting building cloud-whitening towers in the faroe islands as a "technical fix" for warming across the arctic.. scientists told uk mps this week that the possibility of a major methane release triggered by melting arctic ice constitutes a "planetary emergency".. the arctic could be sea-ice free each september within a few years.. wave energy pioneer stephen salter has shown that pumping seawater sprays into the atmosphere could cool the planet.. the edinburgh university academic has previously suggested whitening clouds using specially-built ships.. at a meeting in westminster organised by the arctic methane emergency group (ameg), prof salter told mps that the situation in the arctic was so serious that ships might take too long.. "i don't think there's time to do ships for the arctic now," he said.. "we'd need a bit of land, in clean air and the right distance north... where you can cool water flowing into the arctic.".

The sad thing, ohiocowboy, is that unless our end is too quick to react, I fear we would take the planet down kicking and screaming with us. There are several extreme measures we can take if our existence is at stake that might buy us another hundred years, but would eventually lead to mass extinctions of animal and plant life.
