Research - Jehovah's Witnesses claim to speak for God, and be his only channel of communication with earth.

i believe that before an active jw will care about all of the incorrect claims and prophecies made by the organization, they first must be shown how the society claims to be speaking directly for god, and revealing truth from god.

once this can be established, showing them all of the incorrect predictions and changes of doctrine can have an effect (does jehovah make mistakes?

how can they be speaking for jehovah if they were wrong?

It should be noted that these claims are far stronger than those made by most O.T. Prophets or N.T.

Apostles. While we believe those men were inspired, they did not claim to be angels or take a shotgun

approach to selecting previous prophecies that were fulfilled in them or their writings. Clearly Russell

was not merely a humble Bible student, not only does he repeatedly claim authority & inspiration

through these titles but even proclaims himself to be The Seventh Angel of Revelation.

Has anyone had a cataract affect eye lens replaced with an artificial lens?

i have a cataract in one eye, and am scheduled for an operation sometime ()when my turn comes up).

i'm told the artificial replacement lens will be multifocal.

i'm hoping that my sight will go back to near normal.

i became a jw in 1981. i left in 91. i have so many questions.

There is no formal record of this but there is such a thing as a "green hand shake" that circuit overseers Avail themselves of while they're making their tour of the congregations and I suspect that the governing body is not exempt from this practice but there is no record of this either.

Halls closing

in my city philadelphia they closed many kingdom halls.

my hall was desolved and most of the publishers were added to a congregation that only had 50 publishers.

Some IT skilled individual needs to come up with a website that tallies all hall closings worldwide so we can perpetually keep tabs on what's going on.

Wait, jw.org probably already has that for us.

would some kind soul create a site listing as best they know the names of and the countries where kh have been closed and sold.. ie 31-6-2017, mount tall cong, north kameria.. it seems like the kh are being sold off in a lemming like rush to the cliffs..
