The Jehovahs Witness family weekend
by jambon1 inhaving been out of the organisation for over 4 years and having finally released my kids from the hellish existance that is life as a jw, it struck me today how enjoyable our weekends are in comparison to when we were jw's.. the weekends are vital for us just now.
my wife doesn't work but i work full time from very early in the morning.
i don't get to see my beutiful children in the morning during the week.

See I'm the opposite of that. I was a teenager world and seen all kinds of bad things happen, although never to me or anyone I loved. I came back into the Org as a young adult got married and raised perfect little JW kids and made sure they lived the Org way knowing this would protect them from any harm..right?
Wrong! My daughter was molested by that wonderful loving family man in the congregation. I bet they wouldn't use that in a DC drama!

The first story is the recent on where he is trying to be allowed to go to the KH even though it's a condition of his release to not be around children. The other articles are from 2008 when he was released from prison I believe.

I'm enjoying it so much as well
The kids are thrilled to be having fun on weekends, they had soccer games this morning and are heading to a pizza party with the team for dinner. Before, we would have spent the morning out on service or feeling guilty for not being out..followed by studying for the watchtower study and early to bed for meeting in the am. Tomorrow we sleep in and then head out to celebrate Fathers Day!! Life is good.

World Cup Caution, To Silly Americans Like Me
by Darth plaugeis inas an american i never followed soccer that much, as my thoughts are with the celtics right now.
well my wife being from brazil was excited about the game this afternoon.
brazil beat korea 2-1. as we watched the news from brazil excited about the win she noted "see no one works today at brazil, we all watch the game" and sure enough the streets are swamped with festa.. they beat korea what's the big deal i don't know soccer, but never heard of how good korea was at soccer (my apologies to any koreans that think different).. i have been warned if i want to keep my balls, i should cala boca (shut my mouth).. she gets me back during the summer when baseball is on.

I got to see first hand what Titus doesn't believe, when my daughter was molested by a trusted JW not too long ago :(
We were treated horribly after we went to the authorities, stood up in court and had the molester who molested multiple victims(JW's) convicted and sent to prison. Sadly he was never disfellowshipped..still don't have any idea as to why the hell not!! But, could care less at this point.
Happy to be free from an Org that cares more for the molesters then they care for their most innocent of sheep. I would rather be lonely at the moment and to start my life all over then to spend one more day with those who would sacrifice a good family in order to not look bad.
