That's one of my fears. My daughter has a little dog that is her baby and he loves to race out to the garage as were are all pilling into the SUV. So far we have caught him in time but oh man..I don't know how my daughter would handle it if we accidentally ran him over.
I'm for sure going to be extra careful every morning to make sure he's locked up, before we rush out the door.

Very helpful for those of us who are in the beginning stages of leaving. I really appreciate people who are brave enough to put themselves out there to help so many of us see we are not alone in what we are going through, in how we feel. Sometimes it just takes the advise of those who have been there themselves to pick us up and show us.. we can do it! We will survive.

if anyone cares or dares to read this, this is how it was when i was 13 years of age.. the gap in funding for black and white kids' education is still stunning to me 46 years later, but it's there in black and white.. it's a testament to our determination and fortitude that we acquired an education at all.. this, in the richest country on the planet!.

I'm Mexican husband is Black and we have personally experienced racism, some times through our kids being treated unkindly..is it horrible? No. Is it still bad? Yes.

Carnitas with cilantro onion and tomoteo sauce with a side of Spanish rice..Yumm. Just made some the other day.
Carnitas are really easy to make. Just buy a pork shoulder or butt and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder and red chili powder put in a roasting pan at 325 for 3 to 4 hours depending on how big. You'll know when it's done when it shreds easily. Warm corn tortillas and add the fixings

My oldest started his Junior year on the 11th (scary) Fall soccer season just started Wed.
