Ray Franz has had a stroke

just setting the record straight.

there is another thread that notes a claim on wiki that said that ray has died.. he had a stroke yesterday, and is in the hospital.

he is still alive.

People like me too much my husband says...
It seams every new friend I make likes to pretty much take me over. I goes from me going over to sit in the hot tub for a couple of hours to a everyday phone call to hit the movies or come over for coffee or I need someone to talk to...
I've had to really learn to say no with a smile on my face because after all, I'm a family woman and my favorite things to do is spending my time at home with the hubby and kids playing games BBQing are watching movies.
I guess I don't like people that much

I became inactive after being shown how little the sheep mean to the Shepard's. I lost complete faith in "MEN" but never lost faith in God and Jesus. I still read the bible and pray, but I could never trust an organized religion again.
I fill my spiritual need by talking to friends and neighbors about the bible but this time not to pull them into a religion but instead to encourage them as they encourage me. I have to say one of my biggest shocks was learning that other religions do know their bibles and can quote them even better then I do.

Inactive for over a year now. In fact the DC is going on right now and I just remembered..LOL. That's a big thing, last year I struggled back and forth and ended up showing up on Sunday.
I guess I am moving on.

I'm so miserable since leaving the JWs

i can barely stand it.

does anyone else feel this way?.

for instance, i have a four-day weekend from work, which means i had today off(with pay, thank you very much).

I'm just as miserable!! Letting the kids sleep in on the weekend and then cooking a late brunch after laying in bed until 10am is really driving me crazy!!
Oh how I miss fighting the kids to wake up on their day off to put on uncomfortable clothes and walk the neighborhood with the latest mags...
I just take this freedom any longer!!!! Help me please.

i normally dont watch american idol but im glad i did to watch crystal bowersox.

since i first saw her perform in the beginning auditions i knew she would come in close or win.

i loved her final performance this evening.

I loved Crystal from the get go, but Lee grew on me. So I'm happy with whoever win, However after last night's performances I'm thinking Crystal deserves the title!!

Just had a yelling match with my JW mom....help

she blames me for everything.

i have a conversation with my sister (non jw) and the result is my fault.. i feel suicidal.

i've never yelled at my mother and told her she was wrong..

Yep!!
They really think they need to save you!! Even when you explain you don't need their kind of saving they never stop!
I have gotten into some really heavy conversations with my mother, who was my best friend before I beacame inactive. Each time we end the conversation saying we no longer will disguess JW stuff, only for her to turn around and start in again!!
Sadly our relationship has been forever changed. I really miss her as my friend and mother... she is now this woman on a mission to change my mind .
I really feel for you and hope things get better soon... You are not alone.
