  Those poor families, I know the complete devastation and confusion they are going through right now.

  I'm happy the authorities have the case so they will at least be offered support from those who know what they are doing.

  just have to vent as this has been commented on before.

  some of you know about my son's condition and how he almost died had it not been for the transfusion he received.. my wife took him to the children's hospital for routine labs and pain in his leg.

  on the way in she saw a jw cart right outside the outpatient exit.

  I feel just as fustrated when I see those carts!

  My daughter started community college this semester and of course the first thing we see walking up to the office is the cart!! Like she needs this reminder, while trying to fight through all her anxieties...really ticks me off.

  It's amazing how the kids see it for what it is. They just go along with it to keep their parents happy, but they see the BS a mile away.

  Well I understand that everyone has a right to believe however they want, however wrong they may be!

  They should know they can't break the law! Find another job or shut up and stop imposing your religion on others!

  I almost gave up today except for a girl her tried to throw herself infront of two cars.............

  this may sound insane but i literally have blood on my hands as i have just come home from a counselling session that went wrong...i wanted to collate all that has happened and record it...hospital policy is against it.

  i said "what am i alive for then if not to tell the truth" she tut tutted and i walked out sadly in despair.. when i got to the ground floor there was a young girl screaming her head off.

  she was afraid, that is all she was...........afraid.

  So glad you were there at the right time! You did a great thing.

  This is a great reminder that although some of us have beaten up by this religion or just life itself, we can still reach out and help those in pain and offer them hope.

  awhile back, about a year and a half ago, when i was starting to wake up, i explained to my mom that when the circuit overseer is in town, they schedule shepherding calls after lunch, not because they care, but because they dont want to work door to door in the hot summer or cold winter.

  and they know that a prepared call means some nice hot chocolate and cookies or some ice cold tea and snacks.

  i remember her looking at me kind of funny so i ended the conversation and left it at that, and never brought it up again.

  I think for most that it's not about the money, it's about standing up and forcing the WTS to take accountability for their horrible policies.

  Sadly, it isn't enough that many are leaving over the way they mishandle abuse of children, so the one way to get their attention is to drag them into court and hit them where it hurts.
