van nuys >> a man who was an usher at a kingdom hall of jehovahs witnesses in sun valley pleaded no contest thursday to sex-related counts involving three boys he met there.. marcelo lozano, 34, of sun valley, pleaded no contest to two counts of continuous sexual abuse and one count of oral copulation of a person under 14.. he is facing 30 years in state prison when he is sentenced oct. 8 by van nuys superior court judge leslie dunn.. lozano is also expected to be ordered to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life following his release from prison.. .

as i type this out, my very shy 16 year old daughter will be standing in front of her class sharing her experience as a jw molestation survivor.

i was so shocked yet very proud when she handed me over what she had written...boy did she slam the elders!!.

i was just about to leave to pick up my daughter from school when i opened the garage door and came face to face with one of my favorite sisters from the kh we use to attend.

she greated me with a big hug and we had chit chat about the kids and their activities...nothing jw related.

this particular sister is not one of those all so perfect jws.

my son turned 18 this year so i thought this was the perfect year to cast my first vote along side with him.

it felt really good!

i didn't look around once wondering if any jws were around:) we voted, got our stickers and then enjoyed a nice breakfast discussing our views...it was wonderful.

and thought to myself, i hope it doesn't take me 20 years before i'll be able to get into the holidays .

we are completely inactive at this point and have no intension of going back, however we do have all our immediate family in the org so we still are trying to avoid being disfellowshipped or da... not sure how long that will last, because i want to live my life and not have that hanging over my head forever.. i look at all the beautiful lights and trees and just want to get into it but i know if i dared the jw neighbors would turn us in.

a jehovah's witness has admitted sexually abusing a young boy from the age of seven.. thomas gold, 45, abused the child over a period of seven years at an address in clackmannanshire.

the abuse began with a kiss on the boy's mouth, and became more sexual as the youngster got older.. on one occasion there was "unnatural carnal connection" between them.

No more ordering X amount of Watchtowers per publisher at the book room.

i was listening in last night and heard a special letter being read.. the speaker was so excited reading it.

it basically said that from now on they will leave a stack of watchtowers on the counter at the kh and each publisher should take what they need for the week and bring back the ones they didn't use.

if they run out they should use their old copies they have at home.... effective immediately.. .

is being followed daily at www.swrnn.com for those interested.. this afternoons coverage said he was an elder at the time of the murder.. i think when the story first came out no one was sure if he was or not..

for those interested the trial of the jw who is accused of murdering his wife in murrieta, ca started on wed. i'm not sure how to post the story but if you google him name it should come up.

i feel so bad for the family of the victim just reading the testimony in the newspaper from her mother had me in tears.

i couldn't imagine walking in and seeing my daughter on the floor in a pool of blood...it breaks my heart..
