Remember it? Still get it ...
hi to anyone reading this, so i little bit about myself.
i'm 24 years old born-in, all my family are in, my father is an elder.
though i'm not fading as such i no longer believe jw.org is gods chosen organisation so you could say i'm mentally out.

jw.org is the fastest growing media outlet in the world, our local cobe said we are going to take the media from satan's wicked world!
repent before it's too late and come back to the kingdom hall with all your loving brothers and sisters!
you won't find happiness without jehovah's organization and you know it!
Hello jwcart1975.
Can your little wheels keep up with the ones on the organizational chariot? With all the changes in direction you'd be better off with castors.
i don't typically hear from my mom often, but i tell you, over the past couple of weeks, i have heard from her several times.
you heard the comment about "our way of worship will be altered" and thank you for your posts by the way....but yesterday, she calls and is asking about the kids and then, in typical jw fashion mind you, says:.
"you know, you should really get back to meetings.
@Village Idiot
I remember the Adam and Eve "gap" - if I recall correctly it really was heard about in '76 and '77 and was used to explain away failed expectations of 1975 - before jw's all went completely over to "the generation that saw 1914" and so 1984 and then 1994 were the back stop years - but not explicitly stated.
in addition to the above question, why do citizens of the two above mentioned countries, or other countries, feel the necessity to tell americans how they should interpret the american constitution for localized issues?.
i fairly much have an idea what the general population in the usa feels in regards to the first question.
this could be one of the possible reasons cnn piers morgan poor ratings and eventual firing.
@little_Socrates
I'm British and "soccer" (just called "football" here) is just a yawnfest to me. Mind you I am out of step with the majority of bladder-kicking Englishmen ...

It's not surprising - when Americans get bitter they cling to guns or religion or anti immigration sentiment or anti trade sentiment or antipathy to people who aren't like them as a way to justify their frustrations about themselves.
Brits are the same when they get bitter but they don't have any guns or so much religion to cling to - which is probably a good thing.
the 2014 grand totals page has been released onto facebook.. .
.
i have started updating the statistics and graphs at jwfacts.com/watchtower/statistics.php, and will release highlights as i work through it during the rest of the day..
I do hope that 2014 is the high water mark. You know with all the hoopla about the 100th Birthday Anniversary celebrations and now all fading away to a new year and no armageddy.
A high peak in August 2014 coinciding with the international conventions and a final twitch of enthusiasm before more samey old meetings.
A high memorial peak as this "may be the last one ever" subliminal message.
More money grabbing.
A guy can dream eh?
does anyone else recall the big chart that hung at the front of every kingdom hall?.
it would be about 5 feet x 4 feet.
on the side of the chart, vertically listed, were the months of the year.
thank you for coming to my house so often because you were so concerned about me missing so many meetings.. ( actually, the only time you visited was when the circuit and district overseers were in town.
you really showed them how concerned you were about your sheep.
i now know that it is more of a duty than a concern.).
It's a little dance. They pretend they care and we pretend we wish they called more often.
if you are/were an active jw, you are now here on jwn so, for whatever your reasons, you woke up to some degree- hopefully a great degree.
so what i am saying may not apply to you.. i know that if i had not already left, i would have stormed out on the day they studied "overlapping generation.
" i am quite confident i couldn't have stayed for such an obvious switcharoo just to make the end seem imminent and try to explain how wts was wrong, but not entirely wrong in the past.. but i had to wonder how that change (or others) didn't cause most jw's to walk out.
>Leaving quietly
Doesn't "fill the earth" imply extending the boundaries of the garden of eden?
must be two years since i was on the board.
hope all are well.
i still go to the odd meeting.
Hello stilla - nice to hear from you again.
Tell me - do you still get folk saying they miss you as an elder and why don't you reach out again? I used to get that but as I resigned in 2004 I guess they've got the message.
