  Sorry it to so long to pipe up. I kept trying to sharpen a rock into a writing instrument and kept breaking my monitor putting pretty words on the screen. Now that I figure this computer thing out.... when do we write a incindiary headline over a study that finds a 6 point (which is nothing) difference between say...whites and blacks... (ewwwwwwwwww yup I went there)

  The Prosperity Gospel---Your Opinion?

  benny hinn is one of those preachers that tell you if you give $$$ to their ministry, you will get 10 fold!.

  i never understood why people do give $$$ and these preachers live the high life and encourage their listeners to do the same.

  the watchower's kingdumb halls can't even pay their electric bills and you see these other "ministries"making hand over fist.

  Chalam those verses are blessings, I didn't say God doesn't bless us or even want to do so. The "Prosperity Gospel" basically says don't expect to go out about make 2,000 dollars this month unless you give 200 to the church. You give the money (tithe) as an act of faith and then set back and wait for God to play financial consultant and give it back to you 10x. It's deeply flawed logic and theology.

  As a Christian I am confronted with the prosperity Gospel often. I simply tell them.... "Explain the book of Job" He did everything right and good took it all on a wager with the devil. That usually shuts them up. The point is, yes God does often bless us with abundance but he never let's us forget we are subject to his will. Other words, we aren't entitled to sh*t and he'll check that ass whenever he wants.

  but the four killed were in field service on a sat morning.

  there was no way they were driving this fast on a dead end road in a residential neighbrohood.

  Ya I remember hearing about it when it happened. The family is suing now, couldn't the WTS be liable sense they were selling their products? Isn't that like if I am at work and get hurt?

  - a married ex from a few years ago who has a kid now too, who after being with you got married within a few months, seems to decide they may have made a mistake, and want to meet you for a weekend but supposedly not to do anything wrong just for closure.

  this was not an earthquake disaster, fierro said.

  fierro, a peruvian native who has worked around the pacific rim, arrived in haiti within two days of the earthquake to investigate the destruction caused to the countrys built environment.
