I'm sorry. I meant to say "fark you".
Better now?
i always wondered why jw's were always so afraid of ouija(pronounced as "wee-yaw" not "wee-gee") boards.
does anyone have any speculation about who started these jw myths?.
anyone who has actually tried the board and would like to give their opinions are welcome.

"If you have an explanation, I would love to hear it."
I would need some sort of evidence to form an explanation. Since I have none all I can do is speculate.
Cars have been known to act strangely before(This, this, and this. Though these are more ussual than your experience). I'm sure you know that all forms of complex technology are capable of having weird glitches. Have you ever had your windsheild wipers turn on randomly when driving? I have. I've also seen a TV turn off while I was playing Mario 64 with a friend. We didn't automatically suspect that it was a ghost.
As far as the smell, if you know how our sense of smell works than you know that it's dependant upon the particles that we breath in through our nose. If you could smell anything related to this "spirit" than it was actually creating particles that you could breath in, meaning that it was a physical object. This means that, not only could we study it, but that the experience wouldn't even clasify as being supernatural anymore. I think that is the most interesting part of your story.
I suspect that had all of these things happened without finding the pentagram you and your family wouldn't have thought it was paranormal.
Though you could test it by puting another pentagram in your car and documenting what happens.

"What I do find annoying is for someone who wasn't there, do not know me, no nothing of me to assume that my experience is a piece of fabrication."
Well, fuck you.
Had you read any of my other responses you would realize that I'm not claiming that your experiences are fabrications. I do believe that you experienced something. My point of contention is whether it was paranormal or not. That's what I want to find out.
Meanwhile, please do not put words into my mouth.

palmtree67,
Do you honestly believe that the paranormal is the only explanation for that experience?
What about people like me that have drawn pentagrams? Why don't we all experience odd effects like the ones you are claiming to have exerienced? Why don't other cultures that haven't been exposed to Christian taboos have any ill effects when they come into contact with pentagrams? Why are they effected by other spiritistic items that seem to have no effect on people living in the western world that haven't been told about their spiritistic nature?
Why do some Jehovah's Witnesses claim to have been attacked by demons because of Smurfs or Crosses when others see them as being harmless?
Do you have any explanation for any of these things?

"A valid point, and how would science address the issue of these inteligent entities being hostile and "supernatural" ( for lack of a better word) ?"
Many scientists sudy things that are hazardous(vulcanists, chemists, theoretical physicists, etc.).
As far as the supernatural goes, if it manifests in our world (as almost everyone in this thread is claiming it does) than it can be studied.

"I can appreciate that sentiment, but in this regards, I am not sure what science has to do with it..."
Science is our understanding of the universe and its workings. Whether there are intelligent entities dwelling within this universe is a scientific question that must be answered to further our knowledge of the way things are.
over the past few weeks there have been some werid things happening in my life, several times in fact.. what has happened ( without having to explain every situ) is that i have been lets say person a looking for situation b, and suddenly and without trying i have met situation b who is looking for person a. this has happened very ramdomly and i couldn't say that there was any serious intent behind it except that i had a desire to find somthing at the same time as someone else and somehow we ended up finding eachother... but we met without trying in a utterly ramdom way???.
theories?
and don't say its god becuase i've spent night after night in my past in tears begging, pleading with god to do somthing, and nothing nothing has happened!.
Your first mistake was assuming it was inexplicable.

"I am of the firm belief that you don't mess with stuff that you don't understand and that can come back to bite you on the butt."
If that's the way science worked we'd never find anything out.
If these things exist in this universe I want to know about it.

"So, if I told you what happened to me, your reply wouldbe to just say, "Well that's just your experience." ??
I'm not a red-neck crack-pot. What happened was very scary. If you had seen it and experienced you'd be scared, too.
How would I go about proving to you what happened to me?"
I wouldn't reply "that's just your experience", I would reply "show me some evidence. Any evidence.".
I'm not doubting that you had an experience. I'm doubting if the experience, as you perceived it, was paranormal.

The most annoying thing about the people who claim to have supernatural experiences is that when you back them into a corner the only thing they can ever say is: "What I saw was real! Don't you dare tell me what I saw wasn't real because you haven't experienced it."
They quickly shift from "It does exist" to "I'm not trying to convince you exists. I'm just saying that, from my expereince, it does".
This line of reasoning can be found in every piece of bullshit that ever existed.
