my most painful confession
note to simon: i will use some expletives, but i hope that they will be retained as this is intended to be an otherwise civil and thoughtful post to all my fellow ex-jws.
please read on, as this is most painful.
Thanks Simon for nipping that in the bud.
Amazing, this post has truely touched me. I hope you know that I printed out your advices and they are going up on my refrigerator. I hope as I grow as a person and as an adult I can learn to use some of these. It seems everytime I think I'm at a place where I'm content, I realize there's still so much more to learn.
Thanks Chevy (((amazing)))
i've just returned from seeing my kiddies and thought i would share some happiness...a big thanks to elsewhere for letting me use his digital... .
sincerely, .

awwww these are too cute. What little performers you have. Make sure you cultivate that in them. Who knows, you may have the next little oscar winners on your hands. You may retire at an early age, a very rich Papa. I love the obsession with the nose picking too.
These pics are fabulous!!!
we can't agree on a name for our soon to be born baby boy.. i love the name tristen.
he hates it.. he wants a basic name like bobby, tony, etc.. is there a name that sounds like tristen but isn't?.
give me some ideas if you can.
yes Tristen does sound girly. I like the names Ben, Corey, Kip, Kennedy or August for boys. My ex JW friend was going to name her baby Cain if it was a boy. I also like strong names like Maverick and Trent.
Trent is great. My good friend has a 13 yr old son named Trent.
But my favorite is my baby Spencer's name.
my wife and i have been witnesses for almost 50 years.
we are both third generation witnesses and raised in the "lie".
we raised our kids in it also.
Thnx Double Edge..... this is very interesting. I'm sure I will have quite a time doing some research.

Alright forgive me for my ignorance. Would someone please share with me the whole "Pyramid" thing. I've heard this mentioned before
thanks :(
hi all, my name is eric, i'm 22 years old i live in kansas, and i am the new guy on the forum.
just looking to meet some people who, like myself, have decided that being one of jehovah's witnesses was not for them.
i stopped going about 1 1/2 years ago and have been feeling quite alone.
Hey Eric!!!!
You and I sound so similar. I'm 23. I was baptized at 13, pioneered, was a delegate at foriegn assemblies, was engaged to a ministerial servant. I left at 19. I haven't been Df'd or Da'd, but none of my family or old "friends" talk to me.
WELCOME
I have a feeling you will make an interesting addition to the board. I'm anxiously awaiting the next post.

what was under your tree this morning?.
it's snowing here in tn.
which is what i wanted!!!.
turns out my first Christmas was my best Christmas. I got the following: a new Ibanez bass with amp and carrying case, a new beanie, purple and yellow whale pajama pants, a juicer, a new cell phone, a gift certificate to Foot Locker, a cross necklace, a bucket of popcorn, the first System of a Down CD, Queens of the Stoneage CD, and Elivis' Hits CDs.
Remind me again why I haven't celebrated Christmas before.
since it appears that i won't be having any nieces or nephews in the near future, i have to resort to posting pictures of the new pets in the family.... .
here's my brother's new kitten (notice his "big sister" watching closely):.
isn't he adorable???
Awwwwwe Que Chulo?
alright, my heart is pumping.
i'll try to keep this short.. before i left i had made quite a few friends over in england, from going to assemblies.
over a couple of years they visited me in california, i visited them in england.
Luv ya honey.... hope to see you in June. You guys are my Tony Robbins plan for the year.
