The time difference is very annoying
by Newborn incoz when most of you, in the us, are on-line and active here...i'm sleeping in europe.
sometimes it feels as if i'm missing all the fun.

What's the worst you ever experienced while preaching?

it was my experaince the the old flabby men were far more likely to come to the door naked than the hot ones... now i wonder why that is????

for brit ex pats: is there anything you miss about dear old Blighty?
by highdose inits taken the better part of a year but i'm finaly having pangs of homesickness... it all started when i saw a red london bus ( they use it around here for tourist tours) .. got worse when i went to a out door ex pat event, were it suddenly poured with rain, it was amazing to see the blitz spirt come out!
the locals packed up and left but the brits started singing ( " i'm singing in the rain!
") handing out free wine and chips, almost like a party really, everyone was so happy... and you could see the locals looking at them as if to say " you british werdios!".

and of course i tried buying twinkle lights, and so now am missing woolworths, were you could get twinkle lights for 99p last year! Yes i know they went under but still...
...i'm going to miss the queens speech, yes i know its traditional in my family to mean to watch and then forget to, but still...
i miss not being able to do a quick whizz around tescos, here i have to translate all the labels to figure out what it is.
the other night it was raining so hard it looked like snow...if i want to see snow now i'll have to go into the mountains...

ok not so bad then, you know JB, i actauly had a pang of homesickness the over day! I suddenly wanted to be in pub beer garden with a cool glass of wine on a summers day, honeysuckle and spotted dick.... see the sun set over the south downs maybe...
guess i'll have to check out of of the tourist pubs over here... no honeysuckle though:(

by minimus inthere's a lot.. one rule that is dumb is that a brother must wear a suit for a sunday public talk that he is giving.
any other time, the brother could wear a suit coat with a different pair of pants and not be counseled for it.. another dumb idea is that you cannot date a person unless you seriously might marry them.
if you're on a date, you were supposed to always have a chaperone and holding hands might not be allowed as well as sitting together.. what other dumb rules and ideas can you add?.

rockmehardplace, well my necklines were always borderline when i was in, never got any complaints or counsel! If they could see me now though... my necklines have plumpeted! haha
