Go then and let the chips fall where they may but remember you chose the course you did. No, not the adultery the choosing to leave when you knew it would cost you. And most likely big time. Please, don't come back crying, like so many here, that your kids will not visit you or will not speak to you. If you do not choose fading that is your right but remember they also have a right to do as you brought them up to do in their religion.
You and your wife raised little JWs. Just because you choose to leave it does not mean they will like little robots and follow you.

I don't know you or your family but if you want to continue having a close relationship with your young children I think you should consider "repenting" and continue to attend meetings. Later when you feel it's right you can always fade. Don't put your children between you and your wife. Fade later and perhaps your relationship with them will be preserved. Don't let anger at the Watchtower rob you of your children!

I don't support illegal immigration. What I was attempting to point out was that the problem is more complicated than just throwing illegals out of the country. Many of them serve in needed jobs, jobs that most Americans would not do. And if those jobs should start paying higher wages who is going to go quietly to market and pay the higher prices? It's a complicated issue, was my point. Obviously I failed to make it.

Illegal immigration is wrong, period. It is against the law of the land. But I have yet to read how those illegally in this country who work in the fields picking whatever will be replaced?
Will American citizens fill the gap when it comes to picking the fields and doing the low pay manual labor?

by THE GLADIATOR ini fail to see why people such as alice in wonderland, bane and others, are regularly singled out as tolls.
demands are repeatedly made that they are shunned and thrown off the forum; while people like perry, who rant on with pages of controversial drivel, are considered acceptable?.
i personaly don't view any of them as trolls, just people who feel a need to stand up for what they believe.

Is JWN only a nurturing place that helps exJWs to heal or is it also a place that invites JWs to participate, defending their beliefs and their faith in the Watchtower? Is this a closed board or one open to all ideas even those that may offend former Witnesses? I'm not the owner, Simon must answer that.

We claim to be the ones who "see", Wasblind. If a JW comes here and insults us they are JWs not "seeing" folks as we claim to be. Yes, they respond, that's why they come here! If we respond as well, then we should expect them to defend themselves and yes, even at times be offending. Most of us did not go softly into the exJW night/world.
