For those who may not remember JanH here is a quote from Farkel about him:
"Jan Haugland was one of the most brilliant minds to ever grace JW discussion boards. NOTHING got past him. No amount of bloviating or obfuscation got past him. He was like the Norwegian version of William F. Buckley. His terse and cutting logic caused me to study the discipline, and I'm still grateful to him for his contributions in my life. He's brilliant, witty, funny and being Jan, he can be a jerk. Can't we all? Jan is the same in person as he is on the board. What you see is what you get. At least he's consistent. I say this from speaking with one who has met him."

can those prominent in the "apostate" world be criticized?
we expect that jws be willing to read and swallow what is written here about their leaders and i agree with this.
but...do we also allow criticism of those taking the lead among us?
Thanks for your thoughts, No Room For George.

No Room,
" Besty will come on here like Captain Save-A-Hoe and label you part of the anonymous peanut gallery on JWN who have accomplished and done absolutely nothing for the apostate cause."
LOL, so tell me is the myth still alive that JWD is the beginning and the end of the apostate cause? Hardly! There are many out there who work hard to bring change to the Watchtower and who never post on this forum! A little humility is a good thing.

Leaving,
I truly respect you, please believe that. What is this forum? It is, imo, a place for those thrown out of, or who have left, the JW religion. What are we doing here? Sometimes we expose the JW religion, we also make friends, we heal. This is not just any forum, it is a healing place, a place to experience what we never had, a place to make friends, a place to say what is in our hearts and minds.
I'm not posting this thread for myself, I'm merely trying to say that to heal we must be allowed to speak out. And speak out even here. Is that so bad?

Outlaw, lol
I can hear Jaracz say: " As much as I like AlanF Ray Franz..He wasn`t above the rules here.."
Please, few have contributed as much as AlanF and the Norwegian friends who were put out.

Leaving,
If we are to criticize the way the Watchtower is operated, the way the GB throws people out for disagreeing with them, are you saying we here must be muzzeled and not be able to say what our thougts are on the operation of this forum? Does one standard apply to the Watchtower and another to this forum? Do we not expect the GB to deal with the questions and letters sent to them? But, here, to disagree is against the rules? Really?

Thank you, SA.
You have been here long enough to know that injustice has been done towards those who at one time posted here, AlanF and others included.
