today i am very sad.

at the convention i met the sister i had a crush on at 16 years... (25 years ago!)..

we're both married (with someone else) and i found out she has had a lot of problems.. and i'm finding out i still want to have a dinner with her..

Slave class mentioned Prophet in the closing speech at convention

i did not believe my ears yesterday during the sunday closing speech at the convention, held by the branch coordinator.. the slave class was called "jehovah's prophet".

i know they claim not to be inspired directly.. but the term "prophet" is much more then "not inspired".

i am currently preparing for the public talk on sunday and as i was looking through the outline some these thoughts just keep popping up my mind that in the face of several allegations and numerous scandal, wbts has not stopped claiming to be god's organisation, i am wondering if they will ever realise that their strategies are no longer appealing to the general public.

regrettably, they keep on publishing and printing using victims of mind control hazards to the detriment of over 7 million rank and file members and spiritual illiterates in the society.

i keep on pondering on how long this malicious activity would continue.

15 years ago I did public talks also when I was reading Raymond Franz ((: I tried to merge the Ray & WTS information. Difficult job, and I didn't like it at all.

One time I had writers block. A few years earlyer I got a box with cassettes / recordings of talks from a Gilead elder. I made a transcript of a very nice public talk and nobody mentioned I just made a copy of someone elses public talk. I even got many compliments... What a joke!

I know the Branch coordinator in our country does not add words in a speech. He is an old man, very loyal to the Brooklyn boys.

Conclusion could be that the Governing Body is taking more power and wants to end the "not inspired" label.

Did somebody hear this at other conventions too?

6 million witness (except me) went with the convention leaflet house to house to inform the people about the big question mark: the toe of the image of nebukadnezar.. it took very much millions of hours to spread the leaflet worldwide.. at the end of the sunday part of the convention, the big news was unfold:.

Yes JimmyPage, you are right. The normal things in family life are presented like a danger.

The family worship evening has become a hugh status. Things are not running ok. How is your family worship evening?

Things are running bad? Brother, you have to reduce your working hours! Pioneer! Just like younger days!

Evolution lessons at High School? You know that Jehovah made everything like it is! Simple.

I was shocked to see how brother Wrong was thinking. His reasoning, was so simple. Every problem was the problem of "The system of things".

He is an everage sample of the thinking level of JW's (including me sometimes!!).

Applause!!! Applause!!! Shit, pain in my hands.

I did'nt like the convention (no surprice), but what do I hate the drama on saturday. A shocking inside look in a JW perfect family. The solution of their problems are stupid. To let somebody else ruling in your family life (brother and sister xxx in the basement).

The drama seems to be realistic, because many of JW family's look like, but are not perfect and a family head has to do something.

But this was shocking. Shortening workhours of dad, less shop till your drop for mum and girl and hang the music in the tree's for little boy.

After every part many JW applaused their hands in pieces.

When I noticed this I had to laugh, even when I had so many sad feelings, the observers view...

i had a conversation with a friend previously mentioned on this forum.. http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/members/private/206541/1/dinner-with-one-of-my-best-and-most-liberal-jw-friends.

we were speaking about a mutual friend who was disfellowshipped, and i mentioned that i missed them and wondered if they were okay because it wasn't like disfellowshipped people were dead to us...and he immediately responded "oh yes they are!".

this is really out of his character to say.
