  gorby has had a personal paradigm shift lately.. from one point to an other i "feel" and "think" different about the jw subject.. - no more interest in doctrine.

  - no more interest in things that happen 100 years ago into an religion.. - no more taking statements too serious.

  it doesn't matter me at all what a generation doctrine change is all about, it doesn't matter me at all that brother elder said "blablabla boe!".

  What I failed to mention, is that this paradigm shift works on two sides this time.

  Reading the toppics here, i feel that I don't care about old and new scandals and untruths anymore.

  Attending the Kingdom Hall, i feel that it's all Spanish to me.

  Having lost the attachment to the toppics, I feel i'm having more focus on people. JW and non JW. Human interest.

  And that's why I wrote that i'm surrounded by good people now.

  Hope you get what I mean due to the language gap between Dutch and English.

  What the heck. And since it happend, I have nice people surrounding me.

  gorby is as you know a long time fader.. visited the convention this weekend.. and concluded that samuel herds talk about hope was not so bad at all, it was well balanced.

  made some good points.. knowing both sides of the medallion, have to admit he was humble with a focus on hope.. the saturday drama impressed me.

  of course, there is a lot to say about the organization, this professional produced movie in a "true story" scenario, gave me the insight that hope is important for suffering people.

  Main point for me is that I didn't see forward to this convention, and have taken some points that made me think. Summary for me personaly is that we are human, serious things can and will happen, and hope is essential then for going through it. The details about this hope is something you can fill in for your self.

  Hope for things you will not see or hope for things that will happen diferently then you expect.

  Last thing, those delegates were good people. From all over the globe. That's a kind of special.

  @perry, maybe a true conclusion. What to do without hope?

  Everyone needs hope. When sickness, death and problems arise, hope can make the difference.

  That's not a JW trademark aspect, all religions say.

  Maybe it sounds mad, but Samuel Herd gave me a look at the hope subject again.

  I know that the movie was made to create this effect on people.

  It's not a bad thought, that hope is better than no hope, and this idea is still between my ears.

  Knowing that not everybody is happy with my conclusion, I write this because when they earn credits, they have to get them. Isn't it?

  Last positive point were the delegated witness from over the globe.. Good people, had some good conversations. Even for a fader it can be a nice moment for a good chat.

  Now it's time for holiday season. France, here we come.

  not only sinners, but in a broader perspective, also inactive witnesses".. there was a lot of noise in the hall direct after that moment.. so, no fading escape in the near future, i expect.. g..

  Dissassociation has not taken in the letter, it has a broader aspect, was said in Utrecht. Not for sins only, also with inactive witness no contact.

  An explicit and new, strict rule.

  Yes they did. A very sad movie, parent not answering the telephone call of their DA daughter.

  The concluding message was "don't be sentimental, be loyal to Jehovah".

  No email, app or facebook wit DA family was said also.

  It's not only in Chile, it's in Peru - Flag in Kingdom Hall in Peru

  this is the first photographic evidence i have seen that the kingdom halls in peru, like the ones in chile, put up their national flag for their independence day celebrations.

  i had heard rumors about it before, but now we have evidence.

  don't know if we'll have to wait till next year for more evidence, but now i have both peru and chile on my list of places to go and visit!.
