don’t know if it was part of the script.. at the memorial the remark about growing annointed numbers including this numbers from 2015 to 2017 was made (from 13.000 to 18.000+).. reason for the growing numbers could be:.
- feeling annointed because of former believe.
- psychical reasons.

- feeling annointed because of former believe
- psychical reasons
- because of growing JW numbers it could be a normal issue that annointed numbers grow
I heard the speaker and thought If you are annointed you would be stumbled to need an excuse to be part of it.

so lloyd evans will shortly be releasing his new book how to leave the jehovah's witnesses.
i do enjoy his rebuttals and the stuff he manages to get hold of and leak.
but i'm struggling to understand what he could possibly write to merit a whole book.. all info on how to leave is right here on this forum.
He has the right to do what he wants. If he wants to publish 25 books, so what? Let him go.
it’s up to us to buy or not to buy, isn’t it?

what i don't understand:.
with a jw.org app on your cellphone governments can follow you continue.
is this - in country's with a different type of democraty - not a big security risk for the user of the app???.
I'm no technician but are there no other options to follow certain app users?

so, as some of you will know myself and my husband are in the process of fading.
haven't been to a meeting since beginning of 2017. .
we weren't planning on going to the memorial, but last week my mother broke down and said that we have to go to the memorial even if it's the only meeting i go to this year.
Do what your heart says to do.
We visit the memorial to stay connected with the family. They don't make our fade difficult. No questions during the years. Still invited for family party's etcetera.
So we dicided that one hour a year is not a bad investment.

here in spain we have just had a special visit from the central branch representative (well i'm not sure what his position is) and in his talk he mentioned an episode in which an apostate and his supporters were expelled from bethel in the early 30s under rutherford's rule.
i didn't catch the name, it was something like "shutter" or "shulter".
this event was mentioned to bring attention to a woman who was very close to this apostate and just because of that she was unfairly expelled from bethel as well, but she was "humble" and "content" enough to leave the matter on jehovah's hands and she was reaccepted in bethel after a while.
Did Reinmueller not write the Hapiness book?

Walter sued Rutherfraud, won the case, and tot a lot of money. He wrote about Rutherfrauds wealth and behavior. Rutherfraud called Walter “the devil” in a Watchtower article.
