the wtbts has, since withdrawing their ngo status with the un in 2001, been using a number of key wtbts representatives to build up a rapport with government officials and un representatives in relation to countries and areas the society is having trouble with, france ($$$), russia, singapore, georgia, armenia, azerbaijan, korea, to name a few.. .

the osce maintains special relations with 12 countries, which are known as partners for co-operation.

mediterranean partners for co-operation.

This is not real news. Because the WTBTS and OSCE have long time contact. The Belgium branch office (mr. Gillet) is one of the initiators.

I'm not against this involvement, and would be happy when the WTBTS remains the contact with the UN earlier.

Thanks a lot for this information. It makes me clear what kind of person Rutherford was. He used the WTS & JW's for his personal benefits. I will use this info for informing my JW family members. Only facts will help them to learn thinking about the dark side of the WTS organisation.

Credit Donation Machines in Assembly Halls

i just received an email from the ex-jw meetup group coordinator in phoenix.

she stated that the jws are putting credit donation machines at the assembly halls.

is this true?

Fun, I posted this news under the name Ozner 7 years ago, when the assembly halls in The Netherlands got Creditcard machines. They are now totaly accepted by JW's in the Netherlands (As you know, Dutch JW's don't donate to the WTS, no cash, no creditcards, so we lost the big TV screens at assembly's because of lack of money).

The Society wants absolute faith of their followers. It's becoming more and more a black or white religion. This can't be last for long.

Since the dead of Milton Henschell there is in the literature only a hardliners standpoint.

As "we" know, the real acts of the Society are about organisational finance, investments, property management, making friends with UN, NGO etc.

GB, stop this double standards. If not, you will pay the price.

Spain Branch's undercover operation during WYD(I)

: it is a great worldwide encounter with the pope which is celebrated every three years in a different country.

this time it was celebrated in madrid from august 16th to 21st, 2011.. spain branch, secretly, used 400 youth jehovah's witnesses --in blue jeans-- to preach the pilgrims.

Wow this is news! Thanks for posting. They are undercover agents, this isn't normal. I would like the reaction of the WTS when a JW convention was an undercover target of the Vatican Youths...

rutherford and n.h. knorr, both visited germany to prevent the lose of the magdeburg offices.. for current readers the letter is against jews and against the united states.

For a balanced view about this matter you can read Dedlef's Garbe Zwischen Widerstand und Martyrium.

To make your own conclusion: read the letter by yourself, read the declaration of facts (yearbook 1934) and

read the history of Jehovah's Witnesses in Germany in the yearbook of 1975 and read the Awake of 22 august 1995.

What I forgot to mention in my earlier post:

Rutherford & Knorr wrote the declaration of facts, but the Yearbook of 1975 gave the credits to P. Balzereit, to blame him, the black sheep of WTS Germany.

In the Awake issue July 8, 1998 the society admits that Balzereit was not the writer.

When I mentioned this all above in the 90's I contacted the WTS HQ in Brooklyn. The answer I got above this issue was shocking.

A staf member arround the GB circle told me that the publications of the society can not always present the truth about JW history, because the average JW can not handle

the new facts. They have to be prevented of losing their belief.

The letter can be found in the Nazi archives. The Soviet Union and the GDR (East Germany) used the letter against the witness. Also the West German press published the letter in the '60 or '70. Also the Watchtower Yearbook of 1934 (english version) containes the text of the declaration of facts.

Clear is that the letter is written by Rutherford & Knor during their Germany visit.
