  Skinned and Thrown About.....

  this is a little long, but stick with me.. if you recall, when the building work was in full swing at the new lakefront villa (warwick), wt was having workers come and they would put them up for a year, or more, while they were providing "volunteer services".

  with that, and the impending need for hundreds and hundreds of new khs in the usa territory, the congregations were abuzz with the need for "continued construction volunteers".

  recently, as many of you know, wt headquarters has sent pretty much everyone home, and is no longer needing workers at the new warwick site, as the building is mostly complete, with the dedication coming up later this year.

  So sad.

  At the other hand, they could expect this. Over here in Holland we are Calvinist (light version) and before making such discissions we think about "whats in it for me".

  Selling all you have and spend it in the weekend, that's what we call "asking for problems".

  We have a saying and I translate it direct from Dutch to English: "who burns his butt has to sit on the blisters".

  Maybe it is hard to say this, but people can think for them selves instead of listening to the ongoing nonsense of the jw.org.

  Our salvation was at stake if we did not know and accept this doctrines.

  It was Jesus himself that revealed this information in these last days.

  Born in 1970, and never missed a meeting in my youth, can't still accept that al these hours studying these doctrines were worthless.

  It makes me so sad.

  The question arrises: most of JW's (including myself) have been told over and over what happened in 1918 en 1919. Year after year, book after book, they instructed us what to think. Even with the exact dates for example in the Revelation books. If you didn't believe these events; you could be kicked out for being apostate and "knowing it better then the brothers".

  Now all changed with one mark of a pencil and absolute no questions arrised in the KH. The elderly gave answers if the new doctrine never has been different.

  What's going on? Are they all lame ducks?

  What is the current doctrine worth if it all can change on a Sunday morning?

  I realy can"t get that. How such a proces works - worldwide - !!!

  @vanderhoven7 they did not lost Gods aproval in 1918 was the message of today. They did not lost neutrality and they were not imprisoned at orders of Babylon the Great.

  They always stated that the judge took orders of the church to imprison Rutherfraud.

  Nnow they say it was the state.

  Next week more clarification.
