  What would happen when the man on the picture below, would ring the bell at 1. Kings drive in Texudo. "Can we help you?" the guard asked with a routine smile on his face. "Maybe I can help you, I presume?" the visitor said quietly. "Please tell your brothers that the Master has arrived". The guard's face changed and asked "sorry, I have to look at the visitor list, Master was the name is it? Company name JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs?" The visitor said calm: "My name is Christ, also known as Yeshua". The guard with jw.org logo on his corporated dress, said with clear voice "sorry mister Christ, we don't expect you or someone from your Master corporation today.   Is there a risk using jw library app on cellphone

  this is a question about the use of the jw library app on your cellphone.. the app is mainly used by jw and maybe interested people.

  in this world of big data, and less privacy, any government can track users of this app.. it's no problem when there is nothing at stake.. but, many governments, even the more secular like france and germany, have made restrictions for jw's.. what if you are a government official and jw?

  do you want to be tracked for being one?.

  This is a question about the use of the jw library app on your cellphone.

  The app is mainly used by JW and maybe interested people.

  In this world of big data, and less privacy, any Government can track users of this app.

  It's no problem when there is nothing at stake.

  But, many Governments, even the more secular like France and Germany, have made restrictions for JW's.

  What if you are a Government official and JW? Do you want to be tracked for being one?

  Maybe I see things not right. But for Russia, it's easy to track jw library users on their cell phone.

  What do you think about it?

  Watchtower Doctrines JWs most commonly don't believe

  there was a recent thread on another site where posters maintained that many of the *most* long-standing jw's don't believe at least one official watchtower doctrine.

  i've even read reports from bethelites saying they've heard bethel overseers say they don't believe some watchtower theology.

  this made me think - i believe there are a few official doctrines that are common for many jw's to be either in denial about or simply not really believe ( often one and the same thing).. i'd say these are pretty high in the ranking:.

  @pete, you are right. Before 1975 they did believe it for real and quit hobs and cancel vacations.

  Now they have more an attitude of "you never know...".

  It's mainly a social structure now.

  today i read some postings about the changes in jw land, moving to a evangelical organization, and i have to say that jw.org is more and more recognizable in the genisis video clip jesus he knows me.. back then way overdone, now much like jw.org.

  Watchtower study today - best practice in word

  due to family reasons gorby was present today.. the watchtower study was about refugee's.. how to treat refugee's, jw and non believers, and help them spiritual, not financial.

  nothing new.. what i mentioned is the juridical message underneath the whole story.

  don't talk politics, listen to government regulations etc.. most bizar is that a whole congregation that normaly avoid giving any aid to people in need, this morning gave the best practice in word about what to do with refugee's.. if the subject was not that serious, this hypocracy could be funny.

  we have a laid off bethelite with an engineering degree!

  this guy have been at bethel for 25 years when he could have been making 75-100 thousand a year as an engineer.

  so they kick him to the curb so they don't have to house him and his wife anymore.

  they run into a problem at warwick and they ask him to come back for 3 weeks.
