  Is the name Jehovah`s Witnesses a misnomer ?

  i ask this because from what i read on this board lately is that they jw`s seem to be very reluctant to engage in conversation with anybody nowadays and are only interested in placing literature at carts.. and if anyone brings up questions in their d2d work that challenge them ( like the arc ) they will promptly excuse themselves and move on.

  also didn`t jesus say "this good news of the kingdom would be preached in all the inhabited earth " for a witness ?.

  when was the last time you heard a jw speak about "the good news of the kingdom" ?

  midway through the "congregation bible study" at this week's midweek meeting, a paragraph of the "god's kingdom rules" book stated as supposed evidence that "god's kingdom rules":.

  "spiritual provisions flow to us like an ever-broadening and ever-deepening river.

  our bible-based publications - as well as recordings and videos, our meetings and conventions, and the material published on our web site - together amount to an ongoing flood tide of spiritual sustenance... are you not thrilled to see the fulfillment of jehovah’s promises of abundance in your daily life?".

  Fake theology. It must be a strategy just like fake news. JC kingdom in 1914, angels on trumpets in Cedar Point, Gods organization just like a river, overlapping generation etc etc.

  We all can dream the statements.

  i have written some time ago, about how the religion i grew up in no longer exists.

  i was an 80’s jw kid who became a pioneer then a bethelite.

  they have new meetings, new elder roles, new acronyms, new core teachings, new songs and even a new bible.

  as it's highly unlikely i'll ever go to warwick, i found lloyd evans latest video fascinating.

  i had no idea that the whole 'museum' (if you can call it that) was so big.

  the mind numbing gilead graduation part 1/part 2 will now replace the usually fast moving, lets get this family worship over with, monthly broadcasts several times a year.

  praise jehovah for giving us 7 men, who put their underwear on one leg at a time like the rest of us, to help us keep pace with god's sovereign and celestial chariot.
